The episode begins with Savi noticing a letter slipping from Isha’s hand. Curious, she asks what it is. Isha and Shantanu try to distract her, but Savi picks up the letter and reads it. Her heart sinks as she learns that her adoption request has been rejected by the agency because she is a widow and due to pending kidnapping allegations against her family. Shocked and devastated, Savi breaks down, asking why destiny is so cruel to her. She laments that she lost her right to motherhood once, and now even adoption has been taken away.

Savi, in tears, argues that she is a respected teacher loved by her students. “Being single is not a sin,” she says bitterly. “Do I need to marry to prove I can be a mother? They accuse me of kidnapping Sai when I saved her life!” Isha tries to console her, but Savi storms out of the house, saying she has every right to happiness. Isha breaks down, wondering aloud if her daughter will ever find peace, as Shantanu comforts her.

Later, Shantanu returns from the pharmacy and meets Raju near the elevator. Raju asks if everything is fine and says he wants to forget their old disputes. Shantanu confides that Savi’s adoption request was rejected because of her single status and false kidnapping case. Raju sympathises, saying his wife too is unhappy without Sai. They wish each other well and head to their respective homes.

Meanwhile, Rajat is haunted by his past. He remembers confronting Arsh, accusing him of betrayal for taking away his wife, Ashika. In the flashback, Arsh arrogantly mocks Rajat, saying Ashika is like a luxury car he could never afford. He even offers to pay Rajat’s salary and manage Ashika’s expenses. Furious, Rajat spits on his offer and vows revenge. Arsh provokes him further, taunting that while Rajat worked, he was counting the moles on Ashika’s body. He challenges Rajat to find a woman who would stay with him. Returning to the present, Rajat stares at Sai’s photo, recalling her plea in court to live with him. The song O Re Chiraiya plays softly in the background.

Outside, Sai sits on a park bench, thinking of contacting Supriya, the adoption agency official, to question the rejection. Just then, Urmila calls and gleefully announces that a baby boy was born to Vick. She taunts Savi to inform her parents and attend the naming ceremony. “At least someone is getting happiness,” Savi says sadly after the call ends. She immediately dials Supriya, who bluntly tells her the rejection was due to the FIR. Savi argues that it was false and she had already proven her innocence, but Supriya cuts the call.

Rajat approaches her and cruelly says she deserved this. “You took my daughter from me, accused me of being a bad father, and handed her to Ashika. Now it’s your turn to feel the same pain.” Savi, trembling, replies that she deserves to be a mother, and he could never understand her pain. Rajat, still bitter, says she brought this suffering on herself and vows she will feel the same emptiness he does.

At Arsh’s house, he returns from a party with Ashika and asks how their date went. Ashika, visibly disappointed, says she expected more. When her daughter Sai approaches, asking to sleep beside her, Arsh becomes angry and tells her to go back to her room. Sai insists, but Ashika reluctantly calls Mrs Pereira to take her away. When Ashika confronts Arsh about his promise to marry her after her divorce, Arsh sneers that he wanted a wife, not a mother. “How can we have time for each other with your daughter always around?” he says coldly. Ashika argues that he brought Sai home himself, but Arsh admits the truth – he used Ashika to get revenge on Rajat. “I took your divorce case just to snatch his wife. Now I’ll take his daughter too,” he says. He vows to send Sai to a hostel just like he did with Kian and leaves to sleep.

Ashika, shattered, asks Mrs Pereira to take Sai to bed. The maid comforts Sai, who remembers Savi’s shawl and misses her warmth.

The next morning, Bhagyashree finds Rajat’s pillow wet with tears and learns from the maid that he cries every night. Meanwhile, Mrs Pereira tries to feed Sai breakfast. Sai accidentally spills water on Arsh’s laptop, and he shouts at her angrily. Terrified, Sai says she wants to go back to her father’s house and paint. Arsh furiously forbids her and orders Ashika to make sure Sai tells the court she wants to live with them.

At a school’s parent-teacher meeting, Rajat unexpectedly joins Savi and Sai. Rajat’s friend jokes that they look like the perfect family. Later, Savi asks Rajat why he came if he didn’t want to. Rajat replies, “I need a favour from you — can you pretend to be my wife for a few days?”
