Pakhi asks what Virat means when he tells her she is responsible for Vinu’s condition. In Virat’s opinion, Sai did not inform Vinu of the truth, but rather he tried to handle the issue sensitively. Sai would have explained Vinu sensitively, just as a child should be explained, but Pakhi shouted loudly at him.
Pakhi says he is blaming her instead and not a woman who tried to snatch her son from her; if he is so worried about Sai, he should stay with Sai and Savi and let her and Vinu live in peace; anyway, he is meeting and hugging Sai in the cafeteria and should do it at home, but shouldn’t dare praise her. In light of Sai’s pain at home, Virat thinks someone must comfort him.
Sai continues to imagine Vinu everywhere, showing his bed, study table, etc. She climbs the bunk bed and makes him/teddy sleep. Savi returns to her room, and seeing Sai sleeping with a teddy, wonders why Aayi called it Vinu dada. In the kitchen, she finds all utensils empty. She finds rice and daal and enacts as Chef Savi. She switches on the gas and searches for a lighter. She finds light and lights the gas.
When Virat reaches her, he turns off the gas and asks what she is doing in the kitchen with the gas on. Savi responds that Aayi did not cook food and is talking to her teddy as Vinu dada. Virat says she should call her baby if she feels hungry and there is no one around to help her.
She says the food is tastier than Aayi’s and asks why Aai is calling Teddy Vinu dada if Aayi is fine. He remains silent. She asks why Vinu Dada is not picking up her call if everyone is angry at her. Then she asks him if Aayi is upset since Pakhi aunt is taking Vinu Dada away from them to Mumbai. He nods yes and puts her to sleep. In response to Sai’s request, he says he will return tomorrow for her, but Usha Tai has returned and will take care of her. He then walks into Sai’s room and gets emotional seeing her sleeping with Teddy.
According to him, he cannot even imagine the pain she is carrying and so he does not want to reveal Vinu to her. He hoped a situation would arise where they could celebrate their son’s return together, waiting for the day when she will smile wholeheartedly and even he will smile with her.
Sai continues to imagine Vinayak and gets ready for school the next morning. Usha tells Virat that she has never seen Sai in this condition before; this is the first time she has not fed Sai. Aayi asks Usha why Sai can see Vinu, but she can’t see her. Usha tells Savi she can’t see Vinu, but Sai can see her; she asks her not to ask Sai about Vinu again. Virat reminds Vinu that Sai treated his legs when he couldn’t even walk and Savi saved him from school bullies and boasted about his morales, and asks if it’s fair to call Sai a dirty auntie.
Pakhi says Vinu is right and warns Virat not to talk about Sai again. Ashwini asks Virat to give Vinu some time to calm down. In Vinu’s mind, hearing the dirty aunty’s name makes him feel scared and he fears she will take him away from his mother, so he should never mention dirty aunty again. Virat believes Sai is suffering from mental trauma, so how should he help him get back on track?
A happy Vinu jumps when he sees Pakhi packing her bags for Mumbai. Sai with Savi reaches Chavan nivas and says she has returned.
