Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 17th May 2024 Written Episode begins with Savi unable to sleep as she recalls Harini learning the truth about her forced marriage with Ishaan and apologizing to him. She also remembers Ishaan asking her to sign the divorce papers and return them quickly. She frantically searches for the documents. Harini wakes up and asks what she’s looking for. Savi tells her about the divorce papers. Harini suggests checking with the nurse who might have found them. The nurse confirms the wardboy recovered the envelope, but she’s out of town and can hand it over only after two days. Savi agrees, anxious that Ishaan’s life is on hold because of the delay, especially with his engagement preparations underway.
Meanwhile, Ishaan opens his cupboard and is reminded of Savi as he sees her reception outfit and study materials. He opens a drawer to find Savi’s gift—cufflinks. At her tea stall, Savi helps her friend Shashwat study using mnemonics. Though visibly upset, she shares her study materials. When asked for another book, she recalls it was a gift from Ishaan. Simultaneously, Ishaan wears the cufflinks and remembers Savi gifting them to him.
Reeva mocks the inexpensive cufflinks and questions his changed taste. Ishaan gets defensive and says he likes them. Reeva relents and asks him to smile.
Savi waits outside the vice chancellor’s office, hoping to appeal her exam ban. The peon informs her that an appointment is necessary and suggests leaving a request. Savi insists on meeting the VC that day, calling it a matter of her future. Eventually, the VC leaves for lunch without seeing her. The peon advises her to try at the guest house nearby.
Determined, Savi approaches the guest house but is denied entry. Reminding herself of her roots as Sai and Virat’s daughter, she climbs a tree to sneak in but falls, injuring her hand. The vice chancellor appears, curious why she risked so much. Savi explains her situation, insisting on her innocence and her lifelong dream of becoming an IAS officer. The VC is moved and tells her if she proves her innocence, she can sit for the exam. Savi agrees with newfound hope.
Later, Ishaan finishes work and finds Reeva waiting with a bouquet. They go to meet Harini. At the same time, Savi walks home murmuring how she’s been wronged. She sees Ishaan and Reeva getting out of the car. Ishaan asks about her injury. Reeva explains they’re there to visit Harini. Savi sarcastically comments about their presence and lets them in.
Harini greets them and asks about Savi’s delay. Savi introduces Reeva as Ishaan’s fiancée. Reeva offers a bouquet, and Harini invites them to sit. Savi notices Ishaan is wearing the cufflinks she gifted. She goes to make coffee. Harini, however, asks her to prepare her special rose petal tea instead. Savi says Ishaan prefers coffee and proceeds.
Harini apologizes to Ishaan and Reeva for her past actions. Reeva brushes it off and reveals that if everything goes well, they’ll marry by the end of the month. While preparing tea, Savi burns her hand. Ishaan rushes to help her, followed by Harini. Savi brushes it off but breaks down outside.
Harini consoles her, asking if the tears are from pain or something deeper. Savi regains composure and says she’s fine. She decides to return and participate in Ishaan’s happiness. Ishaan tells Harini to call him if needed and prepares to leave. Reeva reminds Savi that Swanand is handling the divorce and asks her to send the signed papers soon. Savi replies that the nurse has them and she’ll hand them over once they return.

Savi’s tea stall catches fire. Ishaan rushes in to save her parents’ photos and gifts, burning his fingers. Reeva, worried, says that’s the finger she was to put a ring on. Ishaan tells Savi he couldn’t let her memories burn. Savi, confused, asks why he’d risk his life if she means nothing to him.
