As Shantanu makes his way to Ramtek, memories of Ishan’s mistreatment towards Isha come flooding back. He recalls the moment when Shantanu expressed his concern over Isha’s well-being and how he reminded him that he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if anything happened to her. Feeling conflicted, Ishan instructs the driver to take him home before taking over the wheel himself. He questions his actions and wonders why he should apologize to Isha when he did nothing wrong. However, he quickly reminds himself that everything he has been doing is for his father’s sake and promises to find the woman responsible for his condition. Upon reaching Isha’s residence, Shantanu discovers it to be locked. He then contacts Savi’s friend, who confirms that they have both checked multiple times, but Isha is nowhere to be found.
Anxious, Ishan arrives home to find Surekha by his side. She inquires if he is feeling low. He explains that his concern lies with Shantanu’s well-being as there is no indication of when he will return. Surekha shares the same worry for their family, expressing that she fears Isha may manipulate Shantanu and take him away from them. When Ishan questions why she would do such a thing, Surekha reveals Isha’s knowledge of using Shantanu against them to her advantage. Nevertheless, Ishan reassures her not to fret as he believes Shantanu will return home. Just then, the Inspector calls and informs them of a dead body found at Jamnadas hospital that they suspect to be Isha’s, requesting them to identify it together with Savi.
Upon reaching college, Ishan picks up Savi and informs him of a police call. Savi becomes panicked and accuses Ishan of causing Isha’s death, pleading for him to stop the car. Ishan obliges and stops the car while Savi calls Shantanu. Not wanting to add unnecessary stress, Ishan asks Savi not to share the news with him. However, Shantanu picked up the call, and Ishan urged them to stop discussing it. Confused, Shantanu questions why Savi is with Ishan. Finally, Savi reveals that the police discovered a dead body believed to be Isha’s. Shantanu is shocked into stillness. Trying to reassure him, Ishan points out that it has not been confirmed if it is indeed Isha. With this new information, they both head to the hospital.
The inspector requests the constable to reveal the body. After viewing it, they both stand at ease. Savi sits on the bench and bursts into tears. Ishan contacts Shantanu, informing him that the deceased is not Isha, and asks about his current whereabouts. Shantanu calms down and replies that he is en route to Pune. However, he wonders where Isha could be since she is neither in Pune nor Ramtek. Ishan offers to accompany Savi in search of Isha, but she declines, expressing her desire for something bad to happen to her sister as she wishes for her death. She scolds him for hurting their mother and accuses him of trying to alleviate his guilt by finding Isha. Ishan denies feeling guilty.
Savi continues to rebuke him, mentioning how they have enlisted the help of reporter Sheela Thomas to locate Isha and print her pamphlets. Ishan admits he doesn’t have a photo of Isha on his phone, to which Savi responds by stating that Isha has their photos as her wallpaper despite his dislike towards her. They get the pamphlets printed, a day Savi never imagined coming. Ishan defends himself by saying he has support from his loved ones, and they both move on to putting up posters on walls. During this task, Savi slips, and Ishan catches her before scolding her for not doing anything properly. She retorts that it’s difficult to focus with negative energy surrounding them, leading Ishan to question what she means by that.
