Surekha is still unsure of their plan and asks for clarification. Yashwanth reassures her that Ishan is determined to see this through and reminds her of Makrand’s threats and how Ishan had to promise to protect Ayush in order to calm him down. He also mentions that Makrand will no longer have control over the college’s funding or the Mumbai land. Surekha suggests convincing Ishan by appealing to his desire to maintain their college’s reputation, but Yashwanth explains that Ishan is a man of integrity who would prioritize justice over any reputation. He reminds her that Ishan is not their biological son, but Shantanu and Isha’s child who follows their principles unflinchingly. In this situation, emotional manipulation may not work as effectively as it usually does.

Ishan has called for a director’s meeting to determine Ayush’s fate, which will take place tomorrow.
