Surekha reassures Yashwant that the situation will be resolved soon, urging him to calm down. However, Yashwant’s frustration boils over as he blames Ishan for ruining his plans. Just then, Ishan walks into the room, prompting Surekha to alert Yashwant. Confused, Ishan asks why she’s here. Surekha explains that she couldn’t resist coming to check on Anvi after he called her. Ishan defends his actions by stating that he had no choice but to expose Ayush and expel him in order to protect the college’s reputation. Yashwant then asks how Ishan discovered Bharve’s involvement with sending a goon. Ishan responds calmly, revealing that he received a call from the woman who wishes to remain anonymous.
Surekha says she already told him that Isha is trying to reenter the house via her aide Savi. Ishan assures her that wouldn’t happen and she shouldn’t worry. He leaves. After Bharve backed off, Yashwant asks how he will get funding for his college. Isha is the reason for their problems, she says, and they should force Shantanu to divorce Isha. She knows how to get Isha to sign a divorce paper.
In his placard, Ayush states that ragging is a crime, and touching a girl without her permission is punishable harshly. Durva is shocked to see that. Savi asks Ishan to cancel Ayush’s rustication because he has realized his error and is sorry. Ishan says her ego was hurt and she wanted to show her importance. Savi says she knows the value of education and that when someone attempts to reform, they should assist him. She leaves his cabin.
Ishan forgives Yaswant for Ayush. Everyone in the canteen claps for Savi. Savi’s friends throw her a samosa party to celebrate her victory. Durva walks up to her and throws an apology letter in a rude tone at her. Durva gets angry when Savi reads the letter and says Durva will never change as Durva is like playing flute in front of a buffalo. Ayush apologizes next and promises not to repeat his mistake. Durva drags him off.
Ishan dials Isha’s number, still feeling upset over her warning. She answers with excitement, asking about her “son.” He corrects her, explaining that he no longer considers her his mother and has found a maternal figure in Surekha. Ishan reassures Isha that he followed the college policy in seeking justice for Savi and never sent any goons after her. Despite Isha’s attempts to speak, he abruptly ends the call, leaving her in tears. Durva later arrives home and vents about being insulted by Savi. Asmita remarks that Durva deserves it.
Surekha warns Durva to stop misbehaving and never mention that in front of Ishan. Ishan walks in and tongue laces Durva for not learning good morals. Argument ensues. Ishan suspends her from college for a week. Durva cries that the college has a Ganapati festival next week and she is the organizing committee member. Ishan says she doesn’t care about her studies, but she has to face punishment for the festival. He is stopped by Yashwant.
