Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 4th May 2024 Written Update begins with Ishaan offering Savi a handkerchief to wipe the ink from her face. Savi rejects his gesture, calling out his fake sympathy. Ishaan clarifies that he’s speaking not as a friend but as the director of Bhosale Institute and wants to understand what transpired. Savi, hurt and angry, tells him that her dreams have been shattered—she’s been banned from taking exams for the next five years.
Shocked, Ishaan promises she will be allowed to reappear for the exam within six months. However, Savi asks him to stop pretending, accusing him of playing hero. Ishaan insists that her stubbornness is clouding her judgment. He says he hid the truth from her to protect her, believing she would react in the same way. But Savi retorts that she doesn’t need his protection—she came from Ramtek not expecting a savior. She reminds him she stood alone even when his sister wrongly accused her, and she’d rather die than rely on him. She walks away barefoot, determined.
Savi makes her way to the boys’ hostel, seeking Jacob—the student who falsely accused her. Despite the watchman’s protests, she enters. A friend tells her Jacob and his group haven’t returned since the incident. Savi insists on finding them. Preeti and Tanya ask why the boys framed her. Savi says she needs to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Yashwant asks Nishi if Jacob and his friends have confessed. Nishi reveals they won’t talk—they were each paid ₹5 lakh and asked to leave Pune. Yashwant congratulates him, saying now that Savi is banned, she’ll soon be gone from both Pune and Ishaan’s life.
Back at the hostel, Savi returns to her room where Preeti gives her sandals. Other students mock her for allegedly stealing question papers. Preeti advises her to reach out to Isha Madam, who is on the education board. Savi reflects that it’s been long since she spoke to Isha, but recalls her advice: to fight for justice and never forget she’s Sai and Virat’s daughter. Inspired, Savi heads to a nearby xerox shop to write a letter to the education board’s Vice Chancellor, explaining the false allegations and requesting a fair investigation.
Just then, Savi gets a call from the hospital staff demanding payment of ₹10,000 that day.
At the xerox shop, she overhears politicians asking the owner to print 1000 pamphlets for election campaigning. When the owner says the machine is broken, Savi offers to hand-paint the pamphlets, suggesting it will emotionally connect with voters. Impressed, they agree and offer ₹15,000—₹5,000 upfront and the rest after completion. She asks permission to work from the shop, and the owner happily agrees, providing materials. Savi paints all night.
The next morning at breakfast, Yashwant is pleased to see his favorite dishes. He asks for salt, and Chinmay sarcastically says the salt is gone—used up when Yashwant rubbed it into others’ wounds. Yashwant demands an explanation. Chinmay subtly exposes Yashwant and Nishi’s role in framing Savi. Nishi claims innocence, saying the flying squad caught Savi. Chinmay remarks that he didn’t name anyone, but Nishi seems to know he’s guilty. Yashwant warns Chinmay to stop taunting and smugly says the Vice Chancellor congratulated him for his son Ishaan (not Chinmay) handing over his wife to the flying squad, protecting the family’s dignity. Chinmay is hurt by the remark.
Meanwhile, Ishaan exercises on a treadmill, haunted by the incident. Reeva approaches, and Ishaan thanks her for encouraging him to work out, accidentally calling her “Savi” before correcting himself. She asks him to share what’s bothering him. He admits that Savi outright rejected his support.
Precap:
Savi opens a tea stall outside Bhosale Institute, vowing to chase her dreams against all odds. Shukla questions her decision. Ishaan arrives, noting her stance against him, and hands her a document. Savi is stunned after reading it.
