Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 6th August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Harini guiding the hotel photographer to the engagement venue and showing him where the bride and groom will sit. Isha and Milind return from shopping for the engagement shagun items. Milind misses Mrunmayee, and Isha says they should give her time considering the emotional situation she is facing.
Shantanu expects the Thakkar family to arrive soon. He phones Savi and asks where she is. Savi tells him she is on the way. On the way to the banquet hall, she stops near the kids’ play area and meets Sai. She asks Sai whether she is enjoying herself. Sai says she cannot enjoy alone. Savi cheers her up and begins playing with her. Tara Rum Pam Tara Rum Pam plays in the background as Sai says she missed her and applies a nazar teeka behind her ear. Savi does the same. Sai compliments her and asks if she is going to a party. Savi says she is getting married. Sai sadly asks if Savi will go far away after marriage and requests her to keep visiting. Savi ties a knot in her pallu and prays that Bappa never separates the two of them.
Meanwhile, the Thakkars wait for Rajat. He arrives, and Bhagyashree expresses her happiness, saying she feels like doing garba. Lucky tells her to wait until the alliance is confirmed. Tara teases Rajat, irritating him. The family heads towards the banquet hall, and Raju messages Shantanu that they are arriving.
Savi reaches the hall. Harini asks where she has been as the groom’s family could arrive any moment. Isha compliments Savi and asks where the groom’s family is. The Thakkars walk in, and both families are shocked to see each other. Bhagyashree and Isha start arguing, followed by Harini and Tara. They soon learn that Raju and Shantanu have fixed the alliance between Savi and Rajat. Savi and Rajat recall all the heated events that occurred earlier in the day.
The arguments escalate. Bhagyashree and Isha criticise Raju and Shantanu for taking such a decision without informing either family.
At the same time, Arsh arrives at the hotel and meets his reporter Chitra. She claims Rajat is getting engaged today. Ashika spots them and asks what they are doing. When she hears that Rajat is supposedly getting engaged, she refuses to believe it, saying Rajat still loves her. Chitra suggests maybe Rajat wants to marry to gain custody of Sai. Ashika decides to check for herself.
Back inside, Harini and Tara argue about how their families have suffered because of Rajat and Savi. Milind says the Thakkars support a criminal like Aman and vows to ensure Aman goes to jail. Lucky angrily retorts and reveals that Isha locked Bhagyashree in a store room recently. Bhagyashree lashes out at Isha. Isha explains she only did it to stop Bhagyashree from interfering and had informed Lucky, who told her not to reveal it. Now that Lucky is using it to humiliate them, she cannot expect better from his side of the family.
Rajat shouts at everyone to stop and accuses Savi of emotionally trapping his daughter earlier and now trying to trap him and his family for money. Savi replies that she cannot stand him for even a minute, let alone marry him. She says no one would ever want to marry him. Rajat says he also has no desire to marry her. Both families disperse angrily.
Shantanu tells Raju that he warned him their families would not agree. Raju insists they need to try harder and convince everyone from the heart. Arsh and Chitra reach the hall but find it empty.
At home, Rajat confronts Raju for choosing Savi. He asks whether Raju thinks this is the only way to win custody. Raju says Rajat may win custody, but he cannot win Sai’s happiness. Sai loves Savi and feels safe with her. He urges Rajat to marry Savi for Sai’s sake.
Savi confronts Shantanu too. He explains that she loves Sai and marrying Rajat would give her a chance to become Sai’s mother. He shares his parents’ example to convince her. Savi remembers Rajat’s insults and refuses to marry him.
Precap: Rajat and Savi arrive at the marriage registrar’s office and insist the officer conduct their marriage immediately for the sake of someone they love. The officer refuses. They fear losing Sai forever if they do not marry. Ashika overhears everything.
