Savi asks if Isha said something. Inspector says not clearly and asks where she is from. Isha tells her family are from Nagpur, but have lived in Ramtek for 14 years. Inspector gets suspicious. Surekha, Yashwant, and Nishikant fume at the Bhosale house that Isha did not die.
Ishan was already there serving Isha when Nishi noticed Asmita. Surekha angrily says Ishan was already there when she went there. Asmita says she doesn’t know anything. Surekha says she’s not sure. Ishan returns home. Surekha walks behind him. Asmit nods. Yashwant says Surekha is angry today and asks Asmita to install Devi Gowri’s idol in the college today. Nishi is told that Yashwant will handle everything.
Savi feeds food and medicine to Isha. Savi asks Isha what she is thinking. Isha says in one moment a goon shot her and left. She lost consciousness and woke up here. Isha asks Savi if Ishan saved her life. Ishan describes the whole incident to her son, Ishan. Savi says yes, she will thank Bappa for getting out Ishan’s love for his mother and prays Bappa will bring them back together soon.
Yashwant notices that Surekha appears tense and inquires about the reason. She reveals that Isha was believed to be dead, but miraculously revived by Ishan’s touch. Asmita shares the same information with Nishi, and Surekha affirms its truthfulness. She then expresses her confusion as to why Ishan, who she had cared for like a mother, would suddenly want to call Isha “mother”. Asmita explains that there is a soulful connection between Ishan and Isha which allowed for Ishan’s revival through Isha’s touch. Nishi contemplates how Isha’s survival may lead to trouble for them in the form of her report.
Surekha reminds Yashwant that only she is Ishan’s biological mother, not Isha. She insists that she will not back down under any circumstances. Yashwant advises her to do as she pleases but urges her to ensure that Ishan is not affected by their conflict. Surekha ponders about how a single mistake can lead to the unraveling of everything, just like a loose stitch can cause a cloth to tear. Ishan remembers the time he called Isha “aayi”, Savi asking him to call Isha the same, and how Isha came back to life with his touch. He breaks down seeing Isha’s blood on the divorce papers. The following day, Maa Gowri is inaugurated at the college. Panditji states that Bappa cannot be complete without his mother Maa Gowri. As Ishan witnesses this ceremony, he cannot help but think of Isha. Savi prays to Bappa for Isha’s well-being and for herself, as she yearns for her son’s love despite being deprived of it due to their separation.
He informs Surekha that the inspector has called him to the hospital, so he can go. Surekha thinks she is Isha’s mother and tells him he can go. In an effort to gain Ishan’s attention, she steps on broken glass and injures herself. Ishan rushes to her and first-aids her. Surekha says she is fine and asks Ishan to go to the hospital. Ishan says he can’t go see her in this condition and will inform the inspector he cannot visit her.
She returns to Savi. The doctor checks Isha and says she will start physiotherapy soon. Isha asks when she can be discharged. The doctor advises her to get well first. Isha says she is acting like her mother. Savi says she will become her mother again when she is well and will stay in Pune. They will rent a house and she will take care of him until she is ready.
A nurse asks Savi to get Isha’s medicine. Savi advises Isha to rest and not pick up the phone until she returns. Isha replies, “Okay, my mom.” Savi gets emotional, remembering Sai telling her the same. Surekha calls and asks how she is doing and if she will return to Ramtek after discharge. Isha says the Bhosales want to send her back. Surekha says Ishan has paid her hospital bills worth 3 lakhs; they don’t care about money. She is simply informing her.
As she gets upset, she calls Savi and asks her to give her cheque book from her purse. She gives it to her and asks what happened. Isha replies that she does not want anyone’s favor. Surekha thinks she pinched Isha’s paining.
Working women are egoistic and can’t bear to have their self-respect hurt.
