Bhavani inquires about Savi’s whereabouts, to which Harini responds that she’s gone to the beauty parlor on Bhavani’s request. Bhavani seeks confirmation and Ashwini explains that Savi mentioned getting dusty while riding her scooter, so she went to a beauty parlor. Impressed by Savi’s cleverness, Bhavani instructs Ashwini to inform Savi of the tradition where the girl prepares poha for the boy’s family during their initial meeting. Just then, Shantabai calls and reminds Bhavani to ensure Savi is present at home this time.

Savi asks her classmate what time it is, and panics when she learns it’s already 4:45 p.m. Bhavani assures her that Savi will be home when the boy’s family arrives. Isha congratulates Savi for getting a scholarship for IAS at Bhosale Institute. Isha says Savi needs to finish her studies first before marrying because her badi aaji/Bhavani has invited a boy’s family to her house today for her alliance.

Bhavani keeps the boy’s family busy in talks. The boy’s family asks her to contact the girl. She stops an auto and asks the driver to rush her home before badi aaji kills her. Bhavani asks Harini to contact Savi. Savi has gone to Pune for a debate competition, which Harini reveals to her.
