Surekha questions whether the family members are so helpless that their decisions won’t work in their colleges. Whether the college is Bhosale Institute or something else, they could not stop Savi from getting admission, Isha from gaining admission, or Reeva from getting appointed to their college. Nishikant says they could not stop Ishan’s entry since they sought grants from the university.
Surekha expresses disbelief at the idea of a mother causing trouble for her child. Isha had set up a meeting with Reeva, which only caused more pain for Ishan. Asmita explains that Isha was unaware of Reeva’s identity. Surekha questions what kind of mother Isha is, and she doesn’t even know about her own son. Yashwant reminds them that they know Isha’s true character well, but Shantanu still gives Reeva high marks despite knowing about Ishan and Reeva’s connection. Two board members also approved Reeva’s appointment, which received approval from the education board. Nishi wonders why Shantanu would do such a thing to his son.
As Yashwant says, when a man becomes his wife’s servant, he’s wholly consumed and unaware of everything else. Surekha wonders how Ishan’s parents could be so blind to his suffering. Nishi remembers seeing just how distressed Ishan was. Surekha pleads with Yashwant to intervene and prevent Reeva from taking the position, as she can’t bear to see Ishan in pain. However, Nishi reminds them that defying the education board’s regulations is not an option. Losing his temper, Yashwant declares that he doesn’t care about the rules and will call the chancellor to cancel Reeva’s appointment. But before any action can be taken, Ishan reveals that the appointment has already been approved and there is no need for further action.
Savi attempts to feed Ninad food, and he expresses his desire to return home to Ramtek and spend his final days there. Savi reassures him that she will not let him go and reminds him of their dream for her to become an IAS officer and reclaim their home in Nagpur. However, Ninad believes he has become a burden on her, Bhavani, and Ashwini and worries about the possibility of having to sell their house due to his deteriorating condition. Despite Savi scolding him not to think that way, Ninad refuses to eat anything and sleeps.
If he is okay with Reeva’s admission, Surekha asks Ishan. Ishan doesn’t want to see Reeva’s face not only in the college but in the city itself; he wants to calm down a volcano in his mind that erupts when he sees Reeva and will treat her like he treats the other two assistant professors. Surekha says it’s difficult to control one’s love. Will he be able to control himself? Ishan had said that he had controlled himself in the past when Isha returned; he would do the same with Reva.
Upon hearing Ninad’s words, Bhavani expresses concern about how she will face Ashwini if something happens to him. Her sister Harini tries to console her, reminding her to stay calm. Savi chimes in, urging Bhavani to remain strong so everyone else can hold onto hope. She plans to revive Ninad’s memory by making his favorite moong dal halwa in the college canteen. Meanwhile, Surekha admits to Yashwant that Shantanu seems to have become Isha’s puppet and blindly follows her orders, as evidenced by his actions towards Ishan.
Yashwant says Shantanu will be called and asked why he did that. Reeva’s father, Swanand Marathe, has promised to support them financially if they accept her and even to help them with their Mumbai land if they take her. Nishi stops him and admits he gave Reeva extra marks. Nishi says Ishan promised to ignore Reeva like he ignores Isha so that Reeva will leave college within a few days due to their rude behavior. Whatever he did was for their college’s betterment.
Durva shares with her group that a new assistant professor, Reeva Marathe, will join them today. Upon learning this, Ayush inquires about Reeva. Durva reminds everyone that Reeva is the one who caused Ishan so much pain by leaving him on their engagement day, so it’s only fair they make things difficult for her. All of her friends are in agreement. While walking to class, Savi runs into Reeva and helps her with something. In return, Reeva expresses her gratitude and mentions how she landed the assistant professor position because of Savi’s assistance. Impressed by this news, Savi congratulates her. Reeva then reveals that she will teach psychology to final-year students, which happens to be Savi’s current year. Excitedly, Savi offers to show Reeva around and introduces her to the rest of the students in their class.
In her insult to Reeva and Savi, Durva calls them shameless and barges everywhere without invitation. Savi replies that Reeva and Ayush failed the last exam after they were found cheating, so literally, two cheaters are known as cheater cousins. In anger, Reeva tries to slap Savi. Her friends tell her not to do so as they will get into trouble again. Ishan asks what’s happening here, and they are turning the classroom into a fish market. Durva says Savi is causing trouble.
Ishan asks Reeva Madam if she has signed a contract to protect people and asks her to return to her seat. Savi claims Durva is lying and insulted Reeva madam. She asks Reeva if she can resign if she can’t handle the class. She says she will never let him complain again. Ishan leaves. Reeva starts the class and teaches students confidently. Durva needs to pay more attention in class. After class, Reeva thanks Savi again for her support.
