Surekha and Yashwant perform pooja together to celebrate their 35th engagement anniversary. After expressing her well wishes and touching his feet, Surekha politely asks for a gift. However, Yashwant ignores her and walks away, leaving Surekha feeling disheartened. She realizes this is the most upset he has ever been with her in their 35 years of marriage. Savi, who notices this interaction, decides to inform Ishaan about it. She goes to his office and requests a private conversation. However, Ishaan becomes flustered and insists that he only listens to college matters, not personal ones. Just then, Reeva enters the room and offers to come back later when Ishaan is free. But Ishaan kindly asks her to wait as he invites Savi to leave if she is finished speaking.
Savi hands her shagun bangles to Reeva, stating she has a right to them. After receiving them, Reeva assures Savi that she will keep them. Savi persists before walking away. Ishaan urges Reeva not to let Savi ruin her mood and asks what she wants to discuss. Reeva reveals that it is Yashwant and Surekha’s anniversary today, and they planned to celebrate it exactly one month after their wedding. Ishaan feels uneasy. Reeva pauses and suggests that he can help arrange a party with Savi. However, Ishaan insists that since it was Reeva’s idea, she should take the lead in organizing it while he assists her. He appreciates her for remembering the occasion.
With Nishi, Yashwant finds the lights in the house. He calls Surekha and others. Surekha walks up to him. A projector shows their wedding pictures. Surekha is delighted to see them. The whole family surprises them with happy anniversary wishes. Surekha asks if Ishaan arranged it. Ishaan says it was Reeva’s idea. It is important for them to get Yashwant’s permission, who has been angry since morning. Yashwant becomes angry again and asks Amita to bring something. Surekha brings a flower gajra. Yashwant smiles and asks Surekha how he could forget her anniversary gift. He fixes it in her hair and says she still looks beautiful even after 35 years. She feels timid. Savi suggests performing Ganpati pooja before any celebration, to which Durva mocks her. Surekha then shares that her father gifted her a panchmukhi Ganpati idol during her wedding and said it would help them overcome any obstacle that comes their way. Remembering how they faced difficulties at Ishaan’s wedding because they didn’t have an idol, Surekha turns to Savi with a knowing glance. Ishaan chimes in, saying he will get the idol, but Surekha explains that finding it may be challenging. Reeva then offers to check online and ensure they get the idol. However, after searching all day, Reeva and Ishaan cannot find it.
Before leaving the house, Reeva tells her parents she will be late because she and Ishaan are arranging Surekha and Yashwant’s anniversary party today. Swati says she will ask her event manager friend for help as she makes all the arrangements. Reeva, surprised, asks if she wants to help. Swati says she cannot see her tensed, so she hugs and leaves.
Ishaan is already married, and there is no future for Reeva with him, so Swanand asks Swati why she is supporting Reeva. Swati says if she hadn’t forcefully taken Reeva to London, Reeva would have married Ishaan, and Savi would not have interfered with them; she feels guilty and just wants to see Reeva happy. Despite Swanand’s understanding of her concerns, she shouldn’t give Reeva more pain later by supporting her more.
After stepping out of the bathroom, Ishaan chooses his outfit for the party. Suddenly, Savi walks in, and they both feel a sense of alarm. She informs him that she will not be attending college today because she has other plans. He reminds her to tell their professors at college. She assures him that she already did and even sends an email. He expresses his frustration that she didn’t want to skip class when he suggested it, but now she is doing so herself. She defends her decision, stating it’s a unique circumstance, and leaves with a request for him to remember to close the door next time he changes clothes.
