Asmita requests Anvi and Durva to help pack the gift that Surekha brought. Anvi responds confidently, “Sure.” Savi notices a beautiful rangoli and is reminded of the ones she used to make with her mother. She turns to Shikha and inquires about the preparations for Gudi Padwa. Shikha shares how they celebrate all festivals extravagantly in their family. Savi fondly recalls celebrating festivals with her own family. Shikha assures her that they are now her family, too. She then asks for Savi’s help in choosing a dress. Curious, Savi asks who it is for. Shikha explains that all the women in their family buy gifts for their husbands on Gudi Padwa, so she is also purchasing one for Chinmay. She wonders if it can be delivered by tomorrow.
Durva mentions that it doesn’t make a difference since Chinmay won’t be coming tomorrow. Asmita scolds her, stating that whenever Chinmay does come, Shikha will give him all the gifts at once. She tells Shikha not to pay attention to Durva’s remarks. Then, she presents Savi with a sari brought by Surekha for gudi padwa. Savi expresses gratitude towards Surekha. Asmita reminds Savi and Ishaan to establish the gudi/doll tomorrow. Surekha becomes angry and questions why Savi would do so when she declares that she will leave the house soon.
As Savi enters her room, she can’t stop thinking about the bitter words Surekha had said earlier. The dilemma of whether or not to buy a gift for Ishaan crosses her mind. She envisions Harini, who advises her to get a gift if she wants to. Savi inquires about what would be suitable to buy, and Harini reminds her that she didn’t want to do the haldi kumkum ritual due to the false nature of their relationship. She questions what has changed now.
Savi is showing gratitude towards Ishaan for all he has done for herself and Harini by buying a gift. However, Harini questions why Savi is upset about not being able to perform a ritual as she will be leaving the house soon. She also wonders what could bother Savi upon hearing about Ishaan and Reeva’s upcoming trip to Paris.
Swati and Reeva rejoice together. When Reeva inquires about the cause of their celebration, Swati explains that Harini’s health is on the mend. Savi will depart from the Bhosale residence as soon as she fully recovers, allowing Reeva to wed Ishaan. However, Swanand presents an alternate possibility – Harini might plead with Ishaan to stay married to Savi, and Savi herself may not be willing to leave Ishaan or his home. This leads Harini to question whether Savi wishes to part with the house.
Savi admits to overthinking, while her dear friends Asmita, Anvi, and Shikha share the same sentiment. However, this does not mean she will abandon her dream and remain in one place. She is determined to become an IAS officer and bring her parents and grandparents pride. She is grateful for his support and mentorship and plans to purchase a gift for Ishaan using the money she saved from working at a cafe.
Upon receiving a call, Shikha jotted down an address. As luck would have it, Savi happened to be passing by and expressed her desire to join Shikha in purchasing a gift for Ishaan. However, Shikha declined, citing unfinished household work as the reason. Noticing her purse, Savi inquired if she was heading out. In response, Shikha explained that she needed to send a servant to buy items for gudi padwa and thus had her purse with her.
Savi browses a boutique and considers a T-shirt, picturing it on Ishaan. However, he rejects it. A salesgirl observing her inquires if she is shopping for her husband and offers assistance in finding something that suits him. Savi describes her husband as a humble college director and professor who also mentors and sculpts students.
The salesgirl considers herself fortunate to have found a gift that matches her description. She presents Savi with various wallets, each worth 7000 rs. After browsing the options, Savi decides on a pair of hand cufflinks. As she steps outside the boutique, she spots Shikha and tries to get her attention by calling out to her. However, Shikha is unaware of Savi’s presence and takes off in an auto. Not wanting to lose sight of her friend, Savi follows closely behind.
Shikha arrives at the hotel with an anxious stride and heads towards her room. She quickly asks a staff member if he has seen a woman in a green dress but is met with a negative response. As she reaches Chinmay’s room, she sees him approaching her while holding a glass of alcohol.
