Ishani 16th July 2025 Written Episode begins with Nandini receiving great news — she has secured the business contract she was hoping for. Excited, she rushes to share the news. Raj Didi notices her happiness and asks the reason. Nandini proudly replies that it’s a business-related success and immediately asks where Shashwat is. Raj Didi tells her that Shashwat is in the study room, and Nandini leaves to meet him.
Meanwhile, Ishani approaches Raj Didi to take her blessings. Raj Didi smiles and asks what’s special today. Ishani reveals softly that it’s her birthday. She says she plans to go out for a while after completing all her household chores. Raj Didi warns her not to anger Shashwat, saying that if his patience runs out, Ishani won’t be able to bear his anger. Ishani calmly replies that she won’t miss her classes and that she is genuinely happy to have the chance to study again.
Raj Didi questions her decision, saying she doesn’t understand what Ishani hopes to achieve by studying at her age. Ishani replies with quiet confidence that she is studying for her own happiness — and that’s enough for her.
Just then, Pihu arrives and greets Ishani. Ishani tells her to wake up early as they have a lot to do. Pihu insists that she wants to take Ishani out to celebrate her birthday. Raj Didi interrupts, asking who will cook if Ishani goes out. Pihu jokingly says they can hire a cook or that Raj Didi can help. She tells Ishani to get ready and look beautiful. Raj Didi grumbles about how much work there is, but Ishani assures her that she will finish everything before leaving. As she moves toward the study room, Raj Didi warns her not to disturb Shashwat. Ishani firmly replies that he is her husband and she knows when to talk to him.
Inside the study, Nandini excitedly hugs Shashwat and shares the news about her contract. Shashwat congratulates her warmly, saying he’s very happy for her. Ishani arrives at the door and freezes when she sees them embracing. Shashwat tells Nandini that he’s even happier because now she’ll have to stay in Kolkata. Nandini smiles, teasing that he seems happier about it than she is. They both turn and see Ishani standing outside.
Shashwat coldly asks Ishani what she’s doing there. She quietly says she came to talk to him. Nandini pretends to leave, but Shashwat stops her and tells her to stay. Ishani then takes Shashwat’s blessings, and he casually asks if it’s her birthday. Without waiting for a proper response, Ishani politely touches Nandini’s feet too and then walks away silently.
After she leaves, Nandini asks Shashwat how he could forget his wife’s birthday. Shashwat dismisses it, saying Ishani doesn’t deserve to be his wife. He confesses that he married her only for the sake of his children. Nandini, trying to flatter him, asks what kind of woman he actually likes. Shashwat looks straight at her and says, “The woman I like is standing in front of me.” Nandini blushes and asks him not to joke, but Shashwat insists he’s serious, saying that both of them are lonely and understand each other.
Elsewhere, Pihu takes Ishani to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Ishani wonders if Pihu has called anyone else to join them. Pihu smiles and says no, adding that she actually wants to talk about something important — she confesses that she’s in love with Anurag. Ishani is shocked and immediately warns her that Anurag is older and more mature. Pihu argues that age doesn’t matter in love. Ishani becomes restless, thinking she can’t let Pihu ruin her future, yet she’s surprised by the strange unease she feels whenever Pihu talks about Anurag.
Pihu notices her silence and tells her not to overthink, then drags her inside. To Ishani’s surprise, the restaurant is decorated beautifully with balloons and flowers. As she steps in, the guests start singing “Happy Birthday.” Ishani is stunned to see Anurag standing there, smiling warmly. He wishes her a happy birthday and hands her a bouquet. Ishani becomes emotional, realising that after all these years, Anurag still remembered her special day — something her own husband forgot.
