Jagriti 21st November 2024 Written Episode, Written Update on Worldofentertainment.in
The episode begins with Kachori urging Jaggu to eat well, warning that she won’t get food or water for two days. Jaggu recalls past events, Sujata’s words instructing her to conceal the truth from Gita, and Sadhu Baba’s guidance to trust her karma, believing that God is watching. Harish notices Jaggu’s silence since returning from Gita’s house and questions if something happened there.
Meanwhile, Madan Chaddha seeks Chhathi Maiyya’s blessings and receives prasad from Gita. He praises Kalikant for inviting him to witness the Chhath fast. Kalikant reassures him that Maiyya wanted to bless him. Jaggu remains quiet when Bindi questions if anyone at Gita’s house said something to her. She simply finishes her meal and washes her hands. Harish finds her unusual silence concerning.
At the ghaat, Suraj and Akash argue over carrying items, while Gayatri hands something to Ganga for Kalikant’s ministerial aspirations. Ganga happily accepts it as Kalikant expresses gratitude, resting his head on Gayatri’s shoulder. Meanwhile, Kachori and Jaggu complete the preparations. Harish carries the puja basket and asks Durjan if he won’t be joining them at the ghaat. Durjan requests a good kurta from Nanda, stating that all should seek Chhathi Maiyya’s blessings.
Kalikant arrives at the ghaat with Madan Chaddha, calling Suraj and Akash to pose for a picture with him. The media questions Madan about his presence at the Chhath Puja, to which he responds that he is honored to be there, not just for religious reasons but to address societal issues.
However, tension arises when a man criticizes the Chittas for performing the puja at the ghaat. Kalikant confronts Durjan, questioning why they are there. Durjan reveals that Jaggu has undertaken the fast. Madan Chaddha inquires about the dispute, and Kalikant assures him that he will handle the situation. Akash overhears the discrimination against the Chittas and speaks up, determined to ensure that Jaggu can complete the puja.
Gayatri argues that societal traditions must be followed, but Madan Chaddha counters that true progress comes from unity, not division. Kalikant agrees and announces that everyone will perform the puja together. He instructs Gayatri to assist Ganga, warning that any mistake could jeopardize his political ambitions.
Durjan remarks to Nanda that Chhathi Maiyya silences all disputes. Meanwhile, Kalikant reassures Gayatri that after Madan Chaddha departs, he will order the Chittas to clean the ghaat.
As the puja commences, Jaggu arrives at the ghaat. Harish places the puja basket, and Nanda applies a long tilak on Jaggu and then on Harish. Ganga smiles upon seeing Jaggu, and Akash is delighted that she is observing the fast. He assists her in the rituals, pouring water for her offering, while Kalikant looks displeased.
Later, Madan Chaddha thanks Kalikant for inviting him, but Kalikant reminds him that the morning rituals are still pending. Madan expresses his desire to return in the morning. Akash then urges Jaggu to step out of the water, but she refuses, stating that she will not leave until the person for whom she has undertaken the fast arrives.
Nanda prays to Chhathi Maiyya, believing Jaggu has gone mad. Meanwhile, Gita regains consciousness and recalls the explosion. She suddenly calls out for Jaggu. Sujata, Solanki, Sapna, Amol, and a nurse rush to her side. Gita frantically asks about Jaggu, but Amol assures her that everything is fine in Criminal Basti. Solanki insists she needs to rest, but Gita senses that something is being kept from her.
At the ghaat, Harish pleads with Jaggu to come out, warning her about her health. However, she remains steadfast, insisting that she won’t leave until her mother arrives. Meanwhile, Gita, determined to find Jaggu, notices the sacred thread on her hand and sindoor on her forehead. She questions who did this and realizes that if the guards see her, they won’t let her leave. Jaggu, standing in the water, silently prays for her mother’s arrival.
Precap:
Gita asks Bindi about Jaggu’s whereabouts, and Bindi reveals that Jaggu has been observing the arduous Chhath fast for her and is willing to sacrifice her life at the Ganga ghaat. Gita, resolute, declares that as long as she is alive, nothing will happen to Jaggu. She rushes to the ghaat, where Kachori urges Jaggu to look at her. Gita arrives and questions Jaggu about the deep bond that led her to undertake such a rigorous fast. Kalikant, Madan Chaddha, and the Chitta people watch in silence.
