Jagriti 23rd September 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
When Durjan asks Jagriti if she wants her Baba to receive treatment, she must eat non-vegetarian food. Nanda says your father’s life lies in your hands. Mangla curses and scolds Jaggu. Bindi asks Jaggu to agree for Harish’s sake. Jaggu agrees to eat non-vegetarian food. To treat Harish, Nanda asks Vaid ji to give him medicine. After laughing, Durjan lifts Jaggu to tell them she will become chitta in real life and says they will celebrate today.
Nanda brings Jaggu to the dining table just as everything is ready. Jaggu is seated on the peacock feather chair while everyone eagerly watches on. Mangla updates Harish that Dadda has received his treatment, thanks to Jaggu’s agreement to try non-vegetarian food. This news leaves Harish stunned, and quickly exits the room, remembering his promise to Gita. Nanda then announced that Jaggu’s grandmother would personally feed her some non-vegetable dishes today. However, Jagriti firmly closes her mouth and refuses to eat despite her attempts. Amid this, Harish returns and helplessly sits down, recalling Gita’s words. Jaggu notices him and asks if he is alright.
According to Nanda, your baba is still unwell. If you refuse to eat, it may hinder his recovery. Jaggu responds by shutting her eyes and parting her lips. Upon seeing this, Harish raises his voice and urges Jaggu not to consume non-vegetarian food. He then snatches the chicken from Nanda’s hand and throws it away. In a consoling manner, he embraces Jaggu and reassures her that she need not do anything or eat anything because her father is alive. Ballu notices the commotion and asks Durjan to intervene, as both father and daughter seem out of control. But Durjan signals for Ballu to stay quiet and smiles upon hearing Harish’s words.
Jaggu continues to cough without pause. Bindi reminds Nanda of her previous statement that Jaggu could not tolerate the smell. Harish states that their identity is that of non-vegetarian eaters, but considering her young age, she should not be pressured into it. He assures her she will adhere to all community rules, except for consuming non-veg. Furthermore, he promises to earn money and contribute to the community’s funds. Mangla questions how he plans to earn money since he is still unwell and has difficulty walking. Ballu agrees with Mangla and suggests Harish may need a drink after exerting himself so much talking, gesturing towards the wine bottle.
Taking the wine bottle, Harish asks Ballu to drink, but Jaggu tells him not to. He throws the bottle down and tells Mangla that he will take care of his addiction on his own. Jaggu hugs him and praises him. Durjan smiles. According to Nanda, no change will exist for anyone, and all rules will remain the same. Harish shouts, saying that he disagrees with such regulations. Nanda tells him to keep his tone low and asks him to keep it low.
Durjan yells at Nanda, insisting that he should continue shouting. He believes that by doing so, he will have a successful hunt. The future of the Chitta community appears bright and prosperous to him. He assures everyone that Jaggu will not be pressured into eating non-vegetarian food. However, he expresses his desire for Harish to return to his former self from eight years ago. He acknowledges their mutual need for each other’s support. Jaggu interjects with “Baba,” but Bindi reminds her to remain silent. Durjan praises Harish, claiming that he shares his courage, but warns that Jaggu could become rebellious against their traditions, leading to severe consequences from Sarkar (Kalikant). Harish takes it upon himself to educate Jaggu about the reality of their community.
Ballu shares that he plans to visit Sarkar, as his father considers Harish to be the next successor. Harish explains that they only have dry rice, meat, and fish at home. Mangla clarifies that they are accustomed to eating meat and fish but wonders if she should prepare something separately for Jaggu. Harish confesses that he has been struggling with alcoholism for many years and was unaware of his daughter’s struggles. He promises to work hard so that Jaggu can eat whatever she desires. Jaggu mentions that she prefers plain rice. Mangla expresses her frustration about Jaggu taking away her son. Harish decides to go and ask someone if they have any food available.
Bindi arrives with a jug of milk, announcing that she will use it to make kheer for Jaggu. His face lights up with a smile. Harish comments on his misfortune for not knowing about his daughter’s love for Kheer. He then takes it upon himself to prepare the sweet dish and feeds it to her. Curious, she asks about the significance of placing an eyelash on her hand while praying. Remembering what Gita had once told him, Harish explains the belief behind this tradition. She closes her eyes and makes a fervent wish – for God to bring Maa back to her. She reveals Dadi’s words, stating that she is responsible for Maa’s passing. Harish reassures her that this is not true and recalls how Maa had indeed hugged her when she was born despite being unconscious at the time. This sparks a question from her: can Maa come back?
