Jagriti 2nd January 2025 Written Update opens with Jagriti asking Gita why she insisted on inviting Sarkar to the Chitta basti. Gita simply says to trust her—everything will be revealed in time. For now, she nudges Jagriti toward a crying Akash. Jagriti approaches him, asking why he’s in tears despite her win. Akash smiles and says they’re tears of happiness—her powerful words touched everyone’s hearts even though she hadn’t prepared in advance. Jagriti wipes his tears and says she couldn’t have done it without him.
Akash reminds her that her scholarship covers everything—fees, books, and uniforms. He urges her to go and acknowledge Gita as her mother. But Jagriti declines, saying she will only do that the day society accepts Chittas as equals. Until then, she won’t risk Gita’s dignity. Akash respects her decision.
Back in the basti, Kachori proudly announces Jagriti’s victory and recounts how their ancestors once fought the British. Bindi expresses shock, admitting she didn’t know this history. Jagriti explains that they’ve forgotten their heritage, their ancestors’ sacrifices, and teachings. If they don’t remember the past, they cannot shape a better future. Kachori names Jagriti Chitta the winner, and the community cheers.
Meanwhile, Ballu sneaks into Harish’s house, searching for the evidence against Kalikant. But Harish has cleverly hidden the file inside a pillow, knowing Ballu would come looking. The envelope Ballu finds contains only trash. Furious, Kalikant lashes out at Ballu, but Kalindi intervenes to calm him. Ganga notices Kalindi’s proximity to Kalikant and grows uneasy, while Akash observes her reaction.
Kalikant arrogantly declares that he will rise to power and become the Jungle King. Kalindi questions his confidence, but Kalikant laughs off her doubts. Ballu hands over the blue envelope, only for Kalikant to discover it’s fake. He burns the contents in frustration.
Harish confronts Jagriti about hiding the truth. She questions why he let Gita go with Amol, knowing how dangerous he is. Harish says his actions were necessary to save lives, and one day she’ll understand. Jagriti hugs him, silently accepting his intentions.
At the guest house, Amol tries to comfort Sapna. Gita arrives and insists Sapna return home. Sapna refuses, saying she wants to be with her father and accuses Gita of betraying them for a Chitta. Amol supports the idea, fueling Sapna’s anger. Gita defends Jagriti, saying if she is alive today, it’s because of that Chitta girl.
Meanwhile, Akash seeks Ganga’s permission to attend the Chitta function. Though initially hesitant, Ganga agrees but asks him not to provoke Kalikant. Akash promises and thanks her. On the other hand, Suraj manipulates Sapna into believing she deserves to be recognized too. Sapna decides to go to the basti.
In a shocking twist, Kalikant commands Ballu to burn the entire Chitta basti. Kalindi is horrified. Ballu hesitates, pointing out that innocent people live there. Kalikant offers him ownership of the new basti, but insists that Jagriti, Harish, and Gita must die. He cruelly states that God can save whoever He wants—but not those three lives.
