Jamai No. 1 16th April 2025 Written Episode begins with Neel pointing a gun at the mental asylum staff and escaping. At home, Riddhi brings Kanchan’s bag and expresses concern for Neel’s safety. Kanchan coldly says he can go anywhere he wants as long as he never returns, insisting he wants to kill her. She orders the servants to shut all doors and windows to stop him from entering the house.

Neel’s parents gather in worry. Riddhi informs them that the police are searching for Neel after he escaped from the mental asylum, but she promises to ensure he receives proper treatment.

Elsewhere, Pratham lies to Manjari, telling her he has applied for a job and will update his mother. Manjari thanks him. He then says he will take her for a medical checkup, hiding the truth that he bribed the hospital staff to abort her baby. Riddhi notices them together from her balcony and wonders since when they have become so close. She then receives a call saying Neel’s last tracked location was the City Hospital. Worried he may harm someone, she rushes there.

Pratham brings Manjari to the hospital. The nurse assures him the abortion will be done easily. Meanwhile, Neel, disguised and accompanied by a friend, arrives at the same hospital searching for Kanchan’s doctor. He does not notice Manjari sitting nearby. He reaches the doctor and offers a huge sum to issue him a mental instability certificate. Tempted, the doctor agrees. Neel then asks if there is any medicine that can make a person temporarily insane. The doctor shows him a bottle and claims he prescribed it to someone before. Neel slaps him and threatens to expose him unless he admits that Kanchan obtained the prescription from him.

Inside another room, a doctor examines Manjari. Pratham watches through the glass as the nurse signals that the procedure will begin soon. He sees the baby’s movements on the ultrasound and is overwhelmed with guilt. Unable to go through with it, he rushes inside to stop the abortion.

At that moment, Riddhi reaches the same room, spots Manjari, and asks what she is doing there. Manjari nervously replies she came for a routine checkup. Riddhi sees Pratham inside and asks directly if he is the father of Manjari’s baby. Pratham confirms. Riddhi then notices the abortion medication and questions the doctor. The nurse breaks down and confesses everything. The doctor apologises and suspends the nurse on the spot.

Furious, Riddhi slaps Pratham and confronts him angrily for trying to kill an innocent baby.
