The episode begins with Sumati questioning Neel if he’s hiding something. Neel lies and denies it, though Manjari notices his crossed fingers and suspects he’s not being truthful. She begins to wonder about the secret Neel is hiding.

Elsewhere, Simran selects outfits for Riddhi’s wedding functions, joking that she already sensed something was going on between Riddhi and Neel. Vicky taunts her, claiming she doesn’t truly understand his feelings, then shocks her by confessing his love for Riddhi and his desire to marry her. Simran is stunned, but Vicky scolds her again.

Kamlesh arrives and informs Vicky that Neel and Riddhi’s wedding won’t happen. She explains that Kanchan doesn’t approve of Neel due to his lack of social standing and is actively plotting to remove him from Riddhi’s life. Vicky asks if Kanchan would support him instead, and Kamlesh confirms she would.

The next day, Neel recalls Riddhi’s request to bring his family for a pre-wedding ritual. However, Gangadhar is unwell, so Neel asks Sumati to take care of him while he heads out. Sumati urges Neel to quit his job, blaming Kanchan and Riddhi for all their recent troubles. Neel assures her that he’s only doing this for the family’s future and seeks their support, which they promise. He thanks Shashank and leaves.

At Riddhi’s house, the pre-wedding ritual begins. Kanchan greets Neel with fake warmth, sarcastically calling him her future ghar jamai and even hugging him. Neel lies about his parents’ absence, claiming they are busy with a puja. As guests praise Neel’s appearance, Kanchan mocks him and says she’s arranged a designer outfit for him.

Neel enters and spots Riddhi, but Kanchan pulls him aside. She offers him a blank cheque, asking him to leave Riddhi and claiming that this money could change his family’s fate. Struggling with financial pressure, Neel accepts the cheque and silently leaves. Kanchan smugly claims that she always knew poor people could be bought.

When the ritual is about to begin, Parameshwari questions Neel’s absence. Kanchan slyly responds that he saw the designer outfit and fled. Simran supports the claim, saying Neel is nowhere in the house. Kanchan takes this opportunity to brand Neel irresponsible, upsetting Parameshwari. Riddhi consoles her mother and asks her to stay calm.

Just then, Neel makes a dramatic re-entry wearing the designer outfit, surprising everyone. He walks up to Riddhi and hands her a gift. Parameshwari compares his entrance to a cinematic hero’s. When asked about the gift, Neel reveals the cheque and gives it to Riddhi. Parameshwari is shocked by the revelation, and Riddhi stares at Kanchan with a suspicious look.

Precap: Kanchan threatens Swati that Neel will be brutally beaten at her house. Worried, Swati rushes to Kanchan’s place. Kanchan’s aides tear Neel’s clothes under the pretext of a ritual.
