Jamai No 1 26th December 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
Episode begins with Kanchan walking in frustration, fearing that everything—family and business—could collapse if Riddhi reads the letter. Meanwhile, Riddhi emotionally stares at the letter, just about to open it. Neel worries that if the fire alarm activates, his job might be at stake. Suddenly, the fire alarm goes off, and sprinklers drench everyone, including Riddhi.
Kanchan quickly rushes Riddhi out, pretending there’s a fire and preventing her from reading the letter. Riddhi resists, determined to retrieve it, but is forcibly removed. Kanchan silently breathes a sigh of relief.
Outside, staff members gather in panic. Neel blames the incident on his ritualistic “purification” and rushes to shut off the sprinklers. Vicky is only concerned about saving his life. Riddhi remains anxious about the letter. Neel grabs her hand and insists she leave, claiming everything will be destroyed otherwise—even joking about her not being able to say her “times up” dialogue. He helps both her and Kanchan escape.
Outside, Riddhi talks about seeing the words “Riddhi Betu” on the letter. Kanchan tries to dismiss it, claiming she’s mistaken. Riddhi heads back to check herself, but stops when she sees Neel. He apologizes, noticing she’s shivering. She brushes off his concern, refusing to share anything. The fire brigade advises everyone to stay calm.
Meanwhile, Kanchan secretly sneaks back inside to check on the letter. She searches frantically but finds nothing in Riddhi’s cabin. Hearing Riddhi call out, Kanchan flees the scene.
Outside, Neel notices Riddhi is distressed. Kanchan hugs her to calm her down and asks about the letter again, only for Riddhi to insist it was real. Kanchan feigns confusion, suggesting Riddhi is simply imagining things due to missing her medication. She reminds her what the doctor said would happen if she didn’t take her medicines and warns her to control herself for the family’s dignity.
A firefighter explains that there was no fire, only smoke that triggered the sprinklers. Neel panics, realizing the consequences. Vicky says everyone knows smoke detectors exist, and no one would do such a thing knowingly. Riddhi remembers overhearing Neel talk about breaking rules and questions him about smoking. Neel denies it, insisting he’s a Brahmin and doesn’t smoke.
Suspicious, Riddhi calls security and orders them to check the CCTV footage. Neel becomes increasingly nervous while Kanchan prays the letter was destroyed.
Elsewhere, Parmeshwari learns from the receptionist that a fire scare occurred. Simran adds that Riddhi suspects Neel is behind it. Parmeshwari instructs her to report every single detail.
Back in the office, Neel watches the CCTV footage and is shocked. He refuses to accept what he sees, blaming AI instead. Kanchan mocks him, reminding him that he only got the job because of her mother, and no one can save him now. Neel pleads, saying he was only performing a purification ritual taught by his father and didn’t intend any harm.
Riddhi scolds him, saying she had warned him not to take action without permission. Neel asks if this means he’s not fired, and she confirms his job is safe. However, she states clearly that he will be punished. Everyone suffered due to the sprinklers, including her mother, and that’s something she cannot tolerate.
Riddhi tells Neel that his punishment is simple—he must apologize to her mother. Neel turns toward Kanchan as Riddhi smiles, awaiting his reaction.
