The Jhanak 12th December 2024 Written Episode begins with several family members refusing to give their fingerprints and taunting Jhanak. Aditya steps in to defend her and firmly asks everyone to cooperate with the investigation. He says that no one can stop him because he wants answers. The inspector warns the family and says he has other ways to conduct the inquiry if they continue to resist.

Bablu questions why everyone is so troubled and says they should simply cooperate. Anjana agrees and volunteers to give her fingerprints. She says they are not scared because they have done nothing wrong. Tanuja takes offence and asks what she means by that. Anjana tells her not to be frightened and to just give the fingerprints so the matter can be closed. Bablu also insists that they must do what the police are asking.

Jhanak speaks up and says she should not be blamed for any of this. She says that if someone wants to find the truth, others should let him do it. She supports Aditya’s decision to investigate and says she believes none of them would stoop to such a cheap act. Eventually, everyone begins submitting their fingerprints.

Bipasha still refuses and says she is uncomfortable giving them. Arshi argues with Aditya about the procedure, but he requests them to cooperate. Bipasha grows tense and reluctantly submits her fingerprints. The inspector says he will inform them once the report is ready. Anirudh thanks him.

The Commissioner mentions that Jhanak should have attended the meeting. Choton and Lalon explain that she is traumatised. The Commissioner acknowledges this and says the court case is ongoing and they will soon catch Tejas.

He then reveals that a shooter had been hired to kill Birj and asks about Vinayak’s relationship with Jhanak. Choton says Vinayak is kind and that they share a good bond. The Commissioner says call tracing did not reveal enough information and only Vinayak can access Shrishti’s call records. Lalon agrees to handle it.

Choton says he cannot watch Jhanak suffer anymore. Lalon says Shrishti is a dangerous criminal who has tried to kill Jhanak three times, so they cannot let her go. The Commissioner gives another shocking update and says Brij has passed away. Choton and Lalon prepare to leave when the Commissioner asks them to wait.

He apologises to Lalon for not progressing with his father’s case and says the investigation is happening quietly in the background. He assures him that he will fulfil his responsibility. He also reveals that Shubh is involved in the matter. Choton promises to keep this confidential.

Lalon says neither he nor Anuradha wants property or money and that he does not wish for revenge. The Commissioner tells him that the property rightfully belongs to them and encourages him to fight for it.

Elsewhere, Bipasha panics and says Jhanak is targeting them. She admits she messaged Aditya. Tanuja tells her not to worry because fingerprints alone cannot prove that she sent the messages.

Arshi says it is impossible to remove Jhanak from Anirudh’s life and decides she should leave the house. Tanuja comforts her and tells her not to leave. Bipasha vows to trap Jhanak this time. Tanuja says Jhanak should be removed entirely. Arshi says Anirudh and Aditya want to find the culprit and she feels they are trying to humiliate her.

Tanuja blames Bablu and Lalon, and Lal supports her. Bipasha says she knows Shubh and Tanuja have raised Lal well. Tanuja says Anirudh does not value them, but Bipasha promises he will return to their side.

Bipasha then says Lalon had told Jhanak about Appu’s singing program. She reveals she knows a bar singer and will sabotage Appu’s dream so people believe Jhanak took Appu to a cheap club for money. She says her contact will stage everything and that Appu, who only dreams of food, will be easy to manipulate.

Arshi asks how they will stop Anirudh from interfering. Bipasha says they must ensure he remains uninvolved and promises to create a situation that shocks Jhanak. Arshi worries about the fingerprint results, but Bipasha says she will lie and asks how anyone can prove she sent the messages to Aditya. She insists Arshi must not leave the house and that they must stick to their plan. Arshi agrees and says Anirudh must lose faith in Jhanak. Bipasha assures her she will manage everything.

Anirudh enters his room. Arshi confronts him, and he tells her to decide what she wants for her life. She asks if he has ever considered her pain. He becomes frustrated and mentions Shrishti’s cruelty. He says Arshi never understands Jhanak’s suffering.

She says she is tired and wants peace and freedom. She tells him to either be hers completely or end the relationship. Anirudh says he is unable to make her happy because he loves Jhanak. Arshi is stunned. He says he took responsibility for Jhanak and will honour that responsibility for life, and that this is not wrong.

Arshi tells him to leave her then. She cries. He asks where she will go, reminding her that her father is unwell. She says he will support her. They continue arguing.

Jhanak overhears everything and thinks that both of them suffer because of her. She decides she will leave the house before morning so Anirudh does not have to face more trouble.

Anirudh and Jhanak return home. Arshi announces she cannot live with Anirudh and decides to leave. Anirudh says he wants freedom from her and openly declares that he loves Jhanak and wants to marry her.
