The episode begins with Arshi saying that she and her family are not related to Nutan. She adds that even Shrishti was angry with Guru ji and never wanted to keep contact with him. Anirudh argues, asking why Shrishti is still upset if there was no connection. Their argument continues and the family steps in. Shubh tells Anirudh not to compare Arshi with Jhanak, but Anirudh admits he has a soft corner for Nutan because she reminds him of Jhanak. Dadi intervenes and tells Anirudh to move on. She says a new member should come home. Anirudh avoids the discussion and insists Arshi must trust him.

At a café, Mimi sees Dr. Sen and makes a plan to trouble him. She orders food with her friends and tricks the waiter into giving the bill to Dr. Sen by pretending he is her fiancé. Rumi notices Mimi’s games but Mimi continues anyway. After finishing the food, she approaches Dr. Sen and thanks him for the treat, leaving him surprised at her odd behaviour.

Meanwhile, Appu plays with her dolls and imagines Anirudh and Jhanak together. She dreams of uniting them. At the same time, Anirudh sits alone in his room, emotional, and admits he cannot confess his feelings to Jhanak. He wonders why he feels so helpless. Arshi overhears him and breaks down, realising he is still in love with Jhanak.

Elsewhere, Kajal visits Lalon for help with a troublesome ex-boyfriend. She asks him to threaten the man so that he stops bothering her. Appu misunderstands when she sees Kajal holding Lalon’s hand and angrily questions her. Kajal explains, but Lalon refuses to get involved. Appu promises to convince him later.

Arshi pours her heart out to Shrishti. She admits she cannot live in the Poddar house where Anirudh continues to long for Jhanak. She considers leaving and starting fresh. Shrishti manipulates her and says relationships require effort and compromise. She pushes Arshi to fight for Anirudh and not give up.

Encouraged, Arshi approaches Anirudh. In his vulnerable state, he mistakes her for Jhanak and calls her by that name. Arshi tries to convince him they are perfect for each other. Anirudh firmly replies that time has moved forward and his feelings are not the same anymore.

Precap: Vinayak reveals Shrishti’s truth. He says that both Arshi and Jhanak are Shrishti’s daughters. Anirudh hugs Jhanak while Shrishti threatens Brij and Jhanak.
