Jhanak 16th December 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Arshi declaring that Anirudh does not care about her, so she has decided to leave the house. Tanuja tells her not to make such an extreme decision, insisting Anirudh is emotionally unstable at the moment. Choton questions why everyone is stopping Arshi when Anirudh himself is unable to make clear decisions.

Anjana says Anirudh must think carefully before taking any step because his choices may destroy everything. Hearing this, Anirudh becomes extremely frustrated and says he feels helpless. He threatens to end his life, but Jhanak scolds him for speaking in such a reckless manner.

He then turns to Arshi and tells her that he wants her to free him. Arshi sarcastically says he should go marry Jhanak and adds that he will realise his mistake later. Anirudh looks at Jhanak and says he truly wants to marry her. Bipasha is shocked and asks how he can speak so irresponsibly. Laal also scolds him, but Anirudh insists he is telling the truth and that he genuinely loves Jhanak.

Arshi goes to her room and begins packing. Tanuja begs her not to leave. Arshi says she has self respect and cannot stay in a place where she is not valued. Bipasha asks why she is giving up so easily and tells her she cannot let Jhanak win. Arshi says none of that matters anymore. Tanuja insists that one day Anirudh will realise his mistake. Arshi replies that nobody can force him to love her. She says she cannot continue fighting for someone who does not care about her and adds that God will punish Anirudh for this. Bipasha claims Jhanak has done black magic on him, but Arshi says she has wasted enough time already.

Bablu tells Jhanak that marrying Anirudh is not the right step. Anjana says Tanuja and Shubh will never accept her. Choton supports Jhanak and says she must have thought things through because Anirudh and Arshi were never going to be happy together. He asks Jhanak what she is truly hiding. Jhanak remains silent, thinking to herself that she cannot reveal the real reason behind her decision.

Arshi tells Tanuja that Anirudh will only bring pain and disappointment. Anirudh arrives and says he wants to talk to Arshi alone. Arshi refuses and says her love for him is over and there is nothing left to talk about. Tanuja leaves in shame over Anirudh’s actions. Bipasha scolds him for setting a poor example for their younger sisters. Anirudh says he does not need a character certificate from her.

Choton speaks to Bablu and says Jhanak deserves happiness too and should not feel pressured. He adds that since Anirudh and Arshi are both unhappy, ending their relationship is the best solution. Bablu says he does not want Jhanak to face hatred. Anjana warns that society will blame Jhanak for Arshi’s departure. Jhanak says she does not care what society thinks.

Arshi confronts Anirudh one last time. She says he has disrespected her love and she is leaving. Anirudh asks her not to leave during the night, but Arshi refuses, saying there is no trust left between them. She says he has no idea what she is going through and mocks him for trying to justify his decisions. Anirudh says one day she will understand him. Arshi refuses to listen and says they should end their relationship. She then tells him not to leave Jhanak the way he is leaving her.

Choton continues to argue that Jhanak deserves happiness, while Bablu advises her to reconsider. Jhanak says she has made her decision and will marry Anirudh because she has her own reasons.
