Jhanak 16th September 2024 Written Update begins with Aditya rushing Jhanak to the hospital. He shouts for a doctor, concerned about her severe stomach pain. Jhanak reveals that she had experienced similar pain earlier in Kolkata but didn’t expect it to recur. Aditya assures her everything will be fine and questions how he could possibly leave her alone at the hotel. He reminds her that she wouldn’t have abandoned him if the roles were reversed.

Trying to comfort her, Aditya says not to worry about the treatment costs, promising to recover the money once she achieves success. Jhanak laments her hardships—abandonment by her mother, not knowing her father’s identity, and now Anirudh refusing to accept their child. Aditya tells her to have faith; she will soon know her father’s truth, and he will apologize.

Meanwhile, Lalon interrupts the ongoing rituals at Appu’s wedding for her medicine. Kajal brings the medicine, and although the ladies insist on continuing the rituals, Lalon prioritizes Appu’s health.

Back at the hospital, Jhanak questions Aditya’s certainty about her father’s apology. Aditya, recalling Rudra’s words, dodges the details but reassures her. Jhanak, overwhelmed, asks Aditya to promise that if anything happens to her, he will take care of her child and raise it with love. Aditya emotionally agrees, promising to stand by both Jhanak and the baby, even if Jhanak cannot reciprocate his love.

At the wedding, Lalon and Appu continue their rituals. Kajal, emotional but strong, defends Lalon’s love for Appu when ladies gossip. Kajal helps Appu perform traditional gestures like cleaning Lalon’s feet with her hair, despite inner turmoil.

In the emergency ward, Jhanak is attended to. She admits to being three months pregnant. Shockingly, the doctor mentions there might be no pregnancy and recommends immediate tests to clear any doubts. Jhanak and Aditya are left stunned. Despite Jhanak’s hesitation, Aditya insists she be admitted into a private ward for her safety.

Meanwhile, Appu and Lalon continue their bonding moments after their wedding. Lalon affectionately sings Appu to sleep, showing genuine love. Kajal secretly listens and weeps, touched and pained at the same time.

Aditya, determined, arranges for Jhanak’s care while Jhanak is anxious about the uncertainty surrounding her condition.
