Jhanak 19th December 2024 Written Update begins with Anirudh telling Aditya that he cannot stop Jhanak now. He says he would have married her earlier, but this time he must act quickly to protect her. Aditya assures him that he will attend the wedding and adjust his work commitments. Anirudh says he is troubled because Jhanak thinks he is unwell and hovers around him, ignoring all taunts and insults. He admits he finally understands what love is, but he still feels guilty for hurting Arshi.
Aditya tells him that only he can decide whom he wants to spend his life with. Anirudh says Aditya already knows the answer and admits he has wronged Arshi. Just then, Jhanak overhears the conversation from the doorway. Anirudh turns and sees her before ending the call.
Jhanak asks him if she ever told him to do all this. Anirudh says she does not understand the situation. She reminds him that she agreed to marry him only because he said he wanted to spend the last moments of his life with her and that she wants to help him recover. She tells him to call Arshi back if he feels guilty. Anirudh insists it is not about guilt. He says he must speak to the family about their marriage and that they need to marry as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Arshi vomits and Shrishti rushes to her. She asks if this happened before. Arshi says it did. Shrishti says they should visit a doctor. When Arshi asks why, Shrishti tells her they can take a pregnancy test. Arshi panics and says there is no chance, but she remembers her intimate moments with Anirudh. Shrishti says it is still possible. Arshi becomes emotional.
Shrishti asks what she will do if she is pregnant. Arshi says it would be her first child.
Back at Jhanak’s side, she asks Anirudh when they will go to the doctor. He becomes confused and asks why. She insists they must go and tells him she only cares about his life. She urges him to fix the wedding date immediately. He agrees.
Shrishti continues speaking to Arshi, saying raising a child alone is difficult. Arshi says many women in the world raise children on their own and that she can do it too. Shrishti warns her not to make emotional decisions and says they will first confirm the pregnancy. Arshi says she will raise the child whether Anirudh supports her or not.
Anirudh asks Jhanak if she will always love him. Jhanak asks how anyone can take such a big decision without love. He smiles, saying he got his answer. Jhanak then tells him to stay in touch with Arshi because she must be feeling lonely. She says he can at least be a good friend to her. Anirudh refuses to discuss Arshi further.
Shrishti tells Arshi to inform Anirudh at the right time. Arshi agrees reluctantly. Shrishti says Arshi will be responsible for the baby, and it will be a difficult journey. Arshi says she is fully capable and that when Anirudh realises only she has the right over the child, he will understand her pain.
Anirudh announces to his family that he wants to marry Jhanak soon. Tanuja says Jhanak is his would be wife now. Lal scolds Anirudh for crossing limits. Anirudh says his first marriage was incomplete. Bablu refuses to support him this time. Anjana asks Jhanak why she is rushing. Jhanak replies she wants to marry immediately. Dadi calls her shameless.
Anirudh defends her and says he considers Jhanak his wife. Shubh accuses Jhanak of stealing his son. Jhanak says she has done no such thing. Anirudh argues with Shubh.
He declares the wedding will take place on the 21st. Choton says he and Mrinalini will definitely attend. Anirudh says Choton has always supported him and knows he can never do wrong.
Lal and Bipasha continue arguing. Bablu refuses to support them. Choton tries calming him. Jhanak says she is ready to bear any punishment. Dadi curses her, saying she will lose Anirudh the same way she has taken him today. Jhanak shouts at Dadi in shock, leaving everyone stunned.
Anirudh signals her to calm down. Jhanak apologises and begs Dadi not to say such things. She says Anirudh will never leave her. Anirudh feels guilty for dragging her through this turmoil.
