Jhanak 1st December 2024 Written Episode begins with Jhanak crying helplessly beside her father, Brij. Struggling to breathe, Brij tells her that he had warned her earlier and that those people would never let him live. He urges her to take care of herself and warns that they will not spare her either. In tears, Jhanak calls for help. Brij, barely able to speak, tells her to call Anirudh, saying only he can help and asks her to do it for his sake. Jhanak insists on taking him to the hospital, but he repeats his plea to call Anirudh. Before she can say more, Brij’s hand drops lifelessly. Shocked and broken, Jhanak screams “Papa!” and bursts into tears.

She immediately calls Anirudh. He answers and is alarmed to hear her crying. Concerned, he asks if she is in trouble or if she has reached home. Jhanak tearfully reveals that her father has been shot. Shocked, Anirudh asks who did it, but she replies that she does not know as the attackers ran away. Anirudh says this was exactly what he feared and that he should have gone to drop her himself. Jhanak insists that if he had come, they would have killed him too. He asks if Brij is still alive, and she says she has him in her lap and he is bleeding heavily. Anirudh tells her not to panic, to call an ambulance, and promises that he is on his way.

Anirudh rushes out, shouting for Choton and telling him there has been an accident. When he tries to leave, Arshi tells him not to go and insists that Jhanak can handle it. Anirudh refuses, saying Brij has been shot and he cannot stay back. Shubh tries to stop him, but Anirudh says he will not listen to anyone. Shubh argues that Brij means nothing to their family, but Anirudh reminds him that a man’s life is at stake. Anjana asks where the incident happened, and Anirudh explains everything before running out. Kajal advises Lalon to contact the commissioner for help, and Anuradha supports the idea.

As tensions rise, Arshi argues with Anirudh, accusing him of prioritising Jhanak over everyone else. Meanwhile, Appu dreams of earning money by singing at a concert, and Kajal encourages Lalon to accept the offer. Lalon, however, refuses, saying he does not need charity. Anuradha scolds him, and Appu insists they will go sing and earn their own money.

Back at Anirudh’s house, arguments intensify. Anirudh accuses Arshi’s family of cruelty, suggesting that someone might have hired a shooter to kill Brij. Everyone is outraged. Anirudh’s father Shubh and mother Tanuja accuse him of being influenced by Jhanak. Anirudh firmly replies that he still believes there is goodness in their home, though it is fading fast. When Lal questions his loyalty to Arshi, Anirudh says he does not care about her words anymore. Tanuja reminds him she raised him, but he says he cannot explain what Jhanak means to him. He leaves with Choton, while the family warns that he will lose everything for Jhanak.

At another location, Jhanak desperately pleads for help. Neighbours gather as the police arrive. The inspector orders the body to be taken to the hospital, referring to Brij as dead. Furious, Jhanak scolds him and begs her father to wake up, saying she will die if he doesn’t.

Elsewhere, Appu misses Jhanak and prays for her. Lalon feels helpless, saying Jhanak is suffering greatly and he needs some time. Kajal decides to take Appu along to sing, leaving Lalon behind.

Anirudh, Choton, and Bablu finally reach the scene. Seeing them, Jhanak cries and begs Anirudh to save her father. She says that she and Brij were planning to leave the city forever and start a new life in Mumbai. Anirudh consoles her as they prepare to move Brij.

At Shrishti’s home, Vinayak confronts her about Brij’s murder, accusing her of being responsible. She denies it and acts shocked, saying she is sad about his death. Vinayak says she will face punishment and calls her a murderer. She insists that it’s all a lie.

Back at the scene, Bablu asks the inspector for details. The inspector says Brij was returning from court when he was shot and that an investigation will follow. Anirudh insists on taking Brij to the hospital, saying there is still hope. Jhanak tearfully begs him to save her father, promising she will leave the city forever if Brij survives. Anirudh assures her that they will do everything possible. Bablu consoles her while Choton says nothing will happen to Brij. They move Brij onto a stretcher, and Jhanak continues crying, saying her father will be fine.

Anirudh promises Jhanak that he will fulfil Brij’s last wish. She looks at him in disbelief and asks if that means her father is dead. He replies softly that he did not say that.
