Jhanak 20th November 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Shrishti requesting Shubh to help her in the case. She asks him about his fees. Shubh refuses, saying he will not take any payment because he is simply doing his duty and they are relatives. Shrishti insists, saying she can sell her jewellery and assets to pay him. Shubh tells her to stop, reminding her that Arshi is his bahu and he will handle everything. He assures her that Anirudh will eventually see Jhanak’s truth. Shrishti says she wants Anirudh and Arshi to begin a new life together and plans to show the world that Jhanak is greedy. She adds that Jhanak will not be able to face Anirudh in court, and once her truth is exposed, Anirudh will start hating her. Shubh agrees and promises to expose Jhanak soon.
Elsewhere, Choton asks Mrinalini to come home. She hesitates, wondering how she should suddenly talk about marriage. He teases her, saying if she does not agree, he will have no option but to kidnap her. He quickly apologises and explains that he genuinely wants her consent. Mrinalini says it does not seem right to discuss marriage now, especially with everything happening around Jhanak and Anirudh. Choton agrees but reminds her that everyone in the family considers Jhanak their daughter. They talk about how Arshi will never let Jhanak live in peace because no woman wants another in her lover’s life. Mrinalini says Jhanak has a pure heart, but their destinies are different. Choton says anything is possible if it is God’s will.
Their conversation shifts to the upcoming court hearing. Choton explains that Shubh will represent Shrishti and try to prove that Jhanak is not her daughter. Mrinalini insists that truth cannot be hidden forever, but Choton remarks that some truths can be twisted. The two lighten the moment with laughter, and Choton declares his wish to marry her soon. He even announces playfully to people around them that he is going to marry Mrinalini and offers her a rose. She accepts it with a smile.
The next morning, Shrishti arrives at the court with her supporters. People taunt her, but Shubh asks her to ignore them. Anirudh, Jhanak and Brij arrive together, while Arshi watches bitterly. The lawyer reassures Brij and Jhanak. Some women gossip about Anirudh, Arshi, and Jhanak, which angers Arshi. She confronts Anirudh for standing by Jhanak. Anirudh replies that he has already told her he will support Jhanak in this fight. Arshi lashes out at Jhanak, but Jhanak firmly answers back. She reminds Arshi that Anirudh always supports the truth and that times have changed. She says she is no longer the helpless Jhanak and warns Arshi to keep her misbehavior to herself.
Shrishti scolds Arshi for arguing in public and reminds her to maintain her standard. Anirudh taunts Shrishti about this so-called standard. Arshi questions why Jhanak is given so much importance. Bipasha also complains, but Anirudh hits back, asking why they even came to court. Tanuja says they are here to support Shrishti. Anirudh remarks that law only respects proof, not relationships, and says their presence is unnecessary. Brij also criticises them, leading to another heated argument.
Arshi again tries to insult Jhanak, but Jhanak boldly responds. She says she does not chase Anirudh or try to trap him, unlike what others assume. She tells Arshi to focus on her own life and family instead of targeting her. Arshi sarcastically praises Jhanak for her courage. Brij intervenes and defends Jhanak, saying Shrishti is simply scared of Jhanak’s talent. Brij and Jhanak then proceed into the courtroom.
Tanuja stops Anirudh on his way in. Shrishti accuses him of preventing Arshi from leaving his house earlier. Anirudh replies that he stands with Jhanak in this battle because she is fighting against Shrishti, not against Arshi. He then walks inside.
Meanwhile at home, Appu worries about court updates. She says she wants to know if Shrishti gets punished and decides to surprise Jhanak by going to the court. Anuradha and Jhimli try to stop her, but she insists.
The court hearing begins. Shubh and Depashish address the judge. Depashish explains that this case is complicated and unique, involving two daughters from the same family. He tries to simplify the argument by calling them X and Y. Shubh cuts him off and says that only the truth matters in court, asking him to state the names clearly.
