Jhanak 20th September 2024 Written Update begins with a heated argument between Aditya and Anirudh. As they clash, the doctor arrives and asks Aditya to sign the consent bond for Jhanak’s surgery. Anirudh insists on signing it instead, claiming to be her close relative. The doctor agrees but states that Jhanak’s consent is also required. Anirudh signs and offers to pay the surgery fees, but the doctor reveals that Aditya has already made the payment. Anirudh thanks him and offers to reimburse, but Aditya refuses.

As the situation escalates, a nurse informs Anirudh that he can watch the operation and possibly meet Jhanak beforehand. Dhara seeks permission from the doctor, and Anirudh is allowed to meet her. Meanwhile, Arshi packs her bags to leave the house, citing that Anirudh has chosen Jhanak over her by admitting he made Jhanak quit the dance competition. Tanuja and Lal try to pacify her, urging her to wait until Anirudh’s father returns from Delhi. However, Arshi remains firm in her decision. Shrishti and Vinayak arrive and insist on taking Arshi back home, believing Anirudh has abandoned her.

Back at the hospital, Aditya stops Anirudh from meeting Jhanak, leading to another spat between them. Anirudh makes it clear that he has every right to meet her. Vinayak and Shrishti continue criticizing Anirudh at home, while Bablu warmly greets Shrishti. The nurse allows Anirudh a brief meeting with Jhanak before her operation.

As Anirudh sees Jhanak, he reflects on his emotions and confesses in his heart how deeply he loves her and couldn’t bear to leave her alone. The nurse tells Jhanak about a relative from Kolkata who signed the bond. Jhanak hesitates to explain and asks to meet the person first. She is surprised to see Anirudh, and emotional music plays as they meet silently.

Shrishti argues with Bablu again, with Lal and Bipasha supporting her. Anirudh apologizes to Jhanak for insulting her in the past. She says she didn’t want him to come, only to inform him. Anirudh explains that he needed to confirm she was okay. Shrishti falsely claims Jhanak is pregnant, but Bipasha corrects her, saying Anirudh clarified it was a tumor. Everyone is shocked.

Jhanak, filled with emotion, says she might not survive the surgery and forgives Anirudh for questioning her character and accusing her of infidelity. She expresses her desire for him to be happy with Arshi. Anirudh tries to justify his feelings, but she stops him. She confirms that Aditya paid for the surgery, and Anirudh says he will repay the money since he considers her his wife.

Lal suspects Anirudh is hiding something and accuses him of lying. Shrishti claims Jhanak has trapped Anirudh and staged everything. Jhanak hears the accusations and confronts Anirudh, who apologizes again. She says it’s not true and asks him to stop repeating lies. Tensions rise further as the family continues to argue.

Tanuja mentions that Bablu, Anjana, and Chhoton wanted Jhanak to stay. Chhoton, Bablu, and Anjana leave in protest against the toxic discussions. Bipasha and Shrishti insist Jhanak is manipulating Anirudh. The nurse interrupts, stating Anirudh’s time is up. He holds Jhanak’s hand and encourages her to stay strong, promising to be there after the surgery. She tells him to return home, but he asks her to look at him first when she wakes up.
