Anjana scolds Appu and threatens to kill her. Anirudh and Jhanak stop her. Jhanak asks Anjana not to say this. Tanuja says Jhanak’s drama is going on here. Anirudh asks Anjana to let Appu eat the food. Anjana says no, you’ll see my dead face if she eats the food. Tanuja tells Appu to shut up and stop the drama.
Tanuja gives Jhanak a lecture, but Anirudh interrupts her. Jhanak defends herself, stating that it’s her house and she can do whatever she wants. However, she realizes that the wrong actions cannot be justified and consoles Appu. She promises to make food for Appu without anyone stopping her on a particular day. Chhotan questions why only on that day, suggesting Jhanak should make the food again today as well. Anirudh offers to serve Appu, but Appu insists on getting the food herself since Anirudh suggested it. She declares that no one can stop her and eagerly asks for more food. Finally, Tanuja assures Appu that no one will interfere with her meal.
Tanuja insults Appu and Jhanak. Anirudh assures them they are not servants but are helping each other. He kindly offers Appu some food to eat. Anjana expresses her disappointment in Appu’s behaviour. Chhotan encourages Appu to have the food. Tanuja instructs them to give all the food to Appu before leaving the room. Appu sadly reveals that her mother said she would be happy if she died before crying. Anjana regrets having to say such hurtful things to her sick daughter and becomes emotional, saying it breaks her heart when others say unkind things. Appu comforts her mother, vowing to become a good girl who no longer asks for food. Jhanak consoles Anjana during this challenging moment.
Anirudh insists and feeds Appu the food. Appu eats the food. Jhanak smiles and thinks Jhanak takes care of Appu well. Arshi comes and looks on. She calls out Anirudh.
As she asked for all her rights, he said yes, Appu wanted food. She asks who was feeding Appu… you, Jhanak or both? She jokes. She tells Arshi everything. She looks at Shrishti and Vinayak. They get sweets. Arshi says I have to go for a while, and I will return in the evening. Anirudh asks if she must go. She says yes. Jhanak says I’ll set the table. Anjana says rest, have food. Jhanak says no, I’m not hungry. Arshi argues with Anirudh.
Shishti says I can’t come to the evening party. Shubh says Anirudh is planning something special. Jhanak gets the cake and flowers from her room. She says Anirudh kept them, I’ll return them right away. Everyone sits to dine. Vinayak asks Appu to sit and eat. Appu asks where I should sit. Anirudh asks her to sit. Shubh says don’t entertain this girl, let her go.
He says the entire family will celebrate together. She promises she’ll sit silently. Shubh says no. Anirudh says please, Dad. Dadi asks Appu to sit next to her. Anirudh sees Jhanak and recalls keeping the cake and flowers in the room. Shrishti asks her how she got the money. Jhanak gives Arshi the flowers and says they’re a gift from my side.
Then Jhanak says, “Yes, you’re right.” Vinayak says you don’t have to do this. Jhanak thanked him and took the flower and cake. She asks Anirudh if Jhanak troubled you for money, and Anirudh says no. She asks Arshi to take the flowers and cake. Bipasha asks Anirudh if she needs money. Anirudh says no. Shubh asks Jhanak to answer.
Jhanak assures Arshi that Anirudh will answer her call. Arshi questions whether she had instructed Anirudh to make all these purchases, reminding Jhanak of her position as a maid and inability to assign tasks. Jhanak clarifies that she recognizes Anirudh as the boss and herself as the servant but emphasizes that she did not request him to obtain these items. Shrishti inquires about how everything came to be, and Jhanak reiterates that she did not receive any money from Anirudh. Dada asks if someone else gave her such expensive gifts, while Lal comments on her annoying behaviour. Appu defends Jhanak, urging them not to make unfounded remarks as she has brought them a gift to share. Anjana tells Jhanak to keep quiet, but Jhanak directly addresses Anirudh and asks if he would like to explain or if she should do it herself, garnering his attention.
