The episode begins with Jhanak explaining that she found a cake and flowers in her room. She wanted to give something to Arshi for her birthday, but Anirudh beat her to it by giving Jhanak the gifts himself. When questioned, Anirudh admits that he knew it was Jhanak’s birthday and gave her the gifts as part of their plan to celebrate Arshi’s birthday together. However, Arshi accuses Jhanak of pretending to be generous and reveals that she intended the gifts for herself. Jhanak denies this and insists that Arshi should have them instead.
I did not hide it; he said, I’m an independent adult; I can’t ask and make my own decisions; it is basic to wish for someone and give them gifts; I don’t think I should announce it. Vinayak wishes and blesses Jhanak. Appu and others also wish Jhanak. Arshi signs Anirudh. Jhanak thanked Appu for bringing her so much happiness. She says you are the only thing I want, Appu laughs.
It’s enough drama, Shubh says. He asks Jhanak to get to work. Arshi agrees, taking the cake and the flowers from here right away. Shrishti taunts Urvashi, saying you give and take in people of equal status. She says you have to give and take in people of equal status. Whenever I gave Arshi love, I did so with love. I will not live on someone’s favors, I will fight and work hard to reach my goals, this is something I’ve learned well. Anirudh nods.
Anirudh throws a birthday party to surprise Arshi. She expresses gratitude to everyone present. Bipasha admires Anirudh and encourages Arshi to consider marrying him soon. She also cautions her about Jhanak. Arshi blows out the candles on her cake as people applaud. Anirudh asks her how she likes the surprise, but she suspects his involvement. He admits to planning it for his future wife but clarifies that they are not married yet. Arshi teases him about their impending marriage and asks why he gave separate gifts to Jhanak. Anirudh explains that he wanted to avoid any complications.
Bipasha mentions that Jhanak is a maid at Bharat’s house and will be treated equally. Arshi tells her to let it go and enjoy her birthday with friends instead of discussing Jhanak. Bipasha then warns not to underestimate her words. Arshi reassures her that Anirudh loves her and that she trusts him completely. Bipasha advises to be prepared and avoid taking risks. Arshi decides to bring Jhanak home, but Bipasha suggests sending Jhanak back to Srinagar to end all issues. Lal suggests moving on from the topic and enjoying the beautiful evening by hitting the dance floor, which everyone does.
In an argument with Anjana and Jhanak, Appu gets stubborn. Jhanak says I’ll go tomorrow. Appu says no, don’t go. Anjana asks? Jhanak says I have to visit Srinagar. Anjana says it’s dangerous. The danger is to lose life and freedom, Jhanak says. I have no parents, friends away, and unaffectionate relatives, she doesn’t have danger, what will I lose? I have respect, and I do not want to lose it.
Rumi and Mimi make a plan with Bipasha to teach Jhanak lessons on her birthday. Bipasha wishes her all the best. She tells Lal the plan. Appu cries and says she will die if you leave. Jhanak thinks you will never repeat this.
They ask Jhanak to come to the party, invite Jhanak and Appu, take Jhanak to the party, and insist she drink the spiked drink. Jhanak drinks. Arshi dances on the stage. Everyone smiles.
