In the episode, Anirudh lies to his entire family. Arshi asks if I should contact your boss. He says yes, try. Jhanak thinks he is lying, so she has to call his boss and get everything straightened out. She sees her hometown. She smiles. I’m going home after several days. My mum’s presence is there, my neighbors are there, and I’ll never think about Kolkata city again. She thinks of Anirudh and cries. She believes the police will protect me from Tejas.
Anirudh says, “I only have one option: leaving the job.” Shubh suggests, “You have a good job. Try to convince your boss.” Arshi adds, “I’ll attempt to talk to him.” Anirudh declares, “Leaving the job is my only choice. This is unacceptable.” Jhanak objects, “This turn is incorrect. My village is in that direction.” The man responds calmly, “Please don’t shout. We’re not going towards your village because it’s too risky.” She asks curiously, “Where are you taking me?” He reassures her, saying, “To a safe house.” She protests, “But that’s not on this route!” The man comforts her by saying, “Don’t worry. You’re safe with us.” She insists on going home and tells him, “My neighbors will take care of me.” He assures her again, saying, “There’s no need to worry. You are in safe hands.”
He says it is the safest area; no one will bother you. She asks if it is someone’s house. He says yes, you will have to find out for yourself. The inspector says Jhanak was kidnapped, so we will meet him at Tejas’ house. Tejas greets Jhanak as she enters the house. She gets shocked. He smiles and says welcome to Kashmir. Anirudh says don’t be sad; we’ll decide it together.
Shubh urges him to calm down while Arshi is encouraged to speak. With worry evident in her voice, Arshi admits that she’s unsure how to handle the situation with their mother. Anirudh expresses his concern about being misunderstood by their mother and not wanting any rifts between them. He decided to resign from his job today. Tanuja questioned if he had another job lined up and voiced her concerns about dealing with societal perceptions of him being unemployed. She suggests they tell people they canceled the ceremony instead. Arshi suggests speaking to Sandeep about it but knows deep down that it may require sacrificing more for this relationship, perhaps even due to fate. Jhanak interjects with a frustrated tone, feeling deceived by them all and unwilling to stay in this situation any longer.
The man orders his staff to leave the room and firmly declares that he has had enough of constantly chasing after Jhanak. He questions who would want to marry her, as she has been with Anirudh until now, and he is set to marry Arshi. Jhanak pleads with him to let her leave, and he replies that no one is stopping her. Tejas and Jhanak engage in a heated argument, with the man insisting that she will never find true love with Anirudh, subtly hinting at her mother’s history. Furious, Jhanak scolds him for his cruel words. Unfazed by her outburst, the man warns her that Anirudh may come looking for her and reveals that he already has someone waiting in case he does – ready to kill him on sight. The news leaves Jhanak shocked and helpless.
The police are searching for Jhanak. The inspector discusses with his superior about Tejas’ possible involvement in the kidnapping of Jhanak. He expresses the desire to visit Tejas’ home. However, his senior quickly dismisses the idea, stating that he will unlikely keep Jhanak at home. Jhanak pleads for her life, asking not to be killed, while Tejas declares his love and desire to marry her. Despite his promises, she refuses and maintains her decision not to marry him. Tejas insists that it is her choice but tries to persuade her by threatening to harm others if she does not agree to marry him and announce it publicly. He also assures her that he will leave Anirudh alone.
She sobs and begs you not to hurt him. I don’t have much time, he says. She pleads with him. She is against getting married. “Time is up, I told you, you can go, the door is open, you can go anywhere you want, I will never follow you from now on,” he says, counting to ten. “You have come a long way; why are you worried? Nothing will happen to you,” he adds. “I want to go home,” she says. Sure, my men will drop you, he replies. But you won’t do anything to Anirudh, she says. You can leave; this is now between Anirudh and myself, he says. No, don’t do anything to him, she says. He makes a call and requests that someone shoot Anirudh. Anirudh gets worried.
You may go now. No one will believe you if you say everything, and no one has the courage to save Anirudh. Leave. Jhanak says, “I’ll do whatever you ask.” Just let him go.
