The episode of Jhanak on 4th December 2024 begins with Choton speaking to Anirudh about Jhanak. Arshi overhears their conversation from outside the room. Anirudh feels helpless and says that he couldn’t do anything when Urvashi passed away, and now, even after Brij’s death, he feels useless because Jhanak is left all alone.

Arshi stands quietly, shocked to hear them talk about Jhanak. Choton encourages Anirudh, saying that it’s still not too late — he should stand by Jhanak and fulfill his responsibility. Anirudh confesses that Jhanak would reject him if he tried to reach out. Arshi, listening from outside, wonders why Anirudh doesn’t want to stay with Jhanak if he feels so guilty about her situation.

Choton explains that the only way to overcome grief is either through patience or by moving forward. Anirudh says Arshi has never done anything wrong — she truly loves him, and he feels responsible for her. Choton insists that true love only happens once and that maybe Anirudh never really loved Arshi, but has always loved Jhanak. Hearing this, Anirudh admits that he loves Jhanak. Arshi breaks down in tears outside the room as Anirudh confesses that he has done injustice to Arshi and carries guilt in his heart.

Choton tells him that Jhanak is his real love and advises him never to leave her alone. Anirudh worries about what will happen if Jhanak decides to leave. Choton reminds him that he was married to Jhanak and urges him to fix their broken marriage. Arshi is shocked to learn that Anirudh and Jhanak were already married. When Anirudh asks about Arshi, Choton says that his marriage with Arshi was never valid — there was no legal registration or rituals. He asks Anirudh if he truly accepts Arshi as his wife. Anirudh stays silent, lost in thought. Arshi, heartbroken, walks away in tears.

Meanwhile, Kajal returns home and hands money to Lalon, saying it’s twenty thousand rupees for both him and Appu. Appu is overjoyed and says she received payment for singing. Kajal praises her talent and tells her that she and Lalon will now perform together. Jhimli becomes jealous and taunts Appu, saying they no longer have to survive on boiled potatoes. Anuradha scolds her for being rude.

Jhimli argues, blaming their poverty on Appu’s family, claiming that they lost their property because of them. Appu feels hurt, but Lalon scolds Jhimli for her bitterness. Jhimli says she’s tired of living in misery and blames everyone for their condition.

Elsewhere, Arshi breaks down in front of Tanuja. She says her father no longer trusts her mother and that Anirudh’s behavior is only adding to their humiliation. She accuses Jhanak of ruining her life. Bipasha comforts her and promises to remove Jhanak from Anirudh’s life forever.

Back at Lalon’s home, Jhimli mocks Appu again, saying Kajal was supposed to marry into their family but Appu came in between. Kajal tries to calm things down, but Jhimli keeps instigating her. Lalon warns her not to cross the line. Appu bursts into tears as Jhimli walks away angrily, vowing to reclaim their lost property.

Meanwhile, Bipasha tells Arshi that she will use Aditya to destroy Jhanak’s reputation. Once Aditya learns what has happened, he will come running back, and Jhanak will be forced to leave. Arshi, still heartbroken, says Anirudh confessed that he no longer wants to be with her. Tanuja refuses to believe it, insisting that Anirudh truly loved Arshi once. But Arshi cries and says that Anirudh now only loves Jhanak.

At home, Jhanak and her family perform Brij’s last rites. She is shattered, and Anirudh consoles her, asking her to stay strong. Anjana requests Jhanak to come home with them, but Jhanak refuses and says she will go to Mumbai to start anew.
