Vandana is shocked to see UV carrying such a heavy bucket and scolds him for troubling himself. UV insists it is nothing serious, but Vandana turns to Katha and reprimands her for letting him do the work. Katha sharply responds that she tried to stop him, yet he did not listen, and she reveals she has also injured herself. Vandana becomes worried about her.

UV returns with ointment, but Katha refuses and says she prefers using a herbal remedy. She sends Naina to get neem paste. When Katha enters her room, she overhears UV muttering angrily and calling her names. This leads to a heated argument until Naina arrives with the neem paste.
