The episode opens with a cheerful young woman tending to her garden. Introducing herself as Katha Kumari Rathi, she explains that she lives with her uncle and has grown up treating her plants as family. A botany student, Katha insists she dislikes men and dreams of supporting her uncle after completing her studies.

Her uncle plays an old song, and the two share a joyful dance with her aunt. Soon after, Katha rushes to collect cow dung from the milkman for her plants, much to her aunt’s annoyance. Her college peers call her Gobar Devi, but Katha remains unfazed. When her uncle teases her about marriage, she firmly says she will never marry.

Meanwhile, at college, Chef UV passionately explains the connection between food and music before preparing a dish. Tammy tells him that Gobar Devi has denied their entry to the fresher’s party, piquing UV’s curiosity to meet her.

At home, Katha lectures her uncle about healthy eating. When her aunt reminds her about the college event, she leaves carrying a plant. With the train delayed, she takes a bus but ends up climbing onto the rooftop to protect her plant from being left behind.

At college, UV spots Katha and reconsiders his impression—until her smell reaches him, prompting his friends to mock her nickname. During the fresher’s event, Katha’s speech fails to engage the crowd. UV interrupts with a lively song and dance, pulling Katha into it before dropping her on the floor. Enraged, she scolds him, but UV and his friends cannot follow her old-fashioned words. Her friends quickly lead her away.

At the Jindal house, preparations are underway for a puja. Eshwar Chandra Jindal mentions a task he gave UV. A worker later brings UV home, where he admits he didn’t bring the required plant and dismisses the puja’s importance. Eshwar and Harshvardan scold him.

Just then, Mohan arrives with Katha, and she accidentally bumps into UV, spilling cow dung on him. To everyone’s surprise, she has the exact plant needed for the puja. Mohan introduces her to Eshwar, and she respectfully touches the elders’ feet before placing the plant in the puja area. Impressed by her demeanour, Eshwar sees a sharp contrast between her and UV, wondering if their meeting is destined.
