After changing into her saree, Amruta walks out of the room, thinking that she would not let Rajeev into this house if she wanted, but no one would listen.
Babita is changing when a worker enters, and she inquires about his identity. He explained that he works in the kitchen and asked if he could borrow money to help his sick mother. Despite having only five thousand, Babita denies giving him any as she questions if he lost it through gambling. However, he begs her, explaining how urgently he needs the money for his mother’s treatment. In response, Babita states that she is not responsible for him and orders him to leave and return to work or risk being fired. The worker leaves in tears while Amruta observes with disappointment as she realizes that the Ahuja family doesn’t seem to value individuals who lack financial resources. She exclaims that despite their claims of being respectable people, they cannot even spare a small amount for those in need.
When Jahan suggests that Bhawani doesn’t need to go to the hospital, Harsh promptly brings her medicine. As Jahan takes a photo of Bhawani, she reminds him that he had captured a video earlier. She then tells him to focus on his studies and wonders if he even opened his books. Harsh reassures her that he has studied everything and even makes a joke that makes her laugh. He mentions that his mother also finds the joke humorous, to which Bhawani agrees and adds that he is cute. Sitting beside her on the floor, Jahan captures a video of them together.
As Virat stands on the stage, Nimrit praises him as the best. In return, he graciously acknowledges that she is also the best. Today, however, his happiness surpasses because his beloved sister’s wedding date with Rajeev is about to be finalized. Turning to his family, Virat marvels at how quickly Nimrit has grown up and proudly announces that his friend will soon become his brother-in-law. It is a great responsibility, but he willingly offers his life to him. Virat adds that their destiny is truly blessed, and he cannot contain the joy that his friend and sister will soon be united in marriage. Meanwhile, Amruta admires a photo of Harsh and Bhawani, her face brightening with a smile.
As Virat compliments their smiles, Amruta’s gaze fixates on him as he becomes self-aware. Holding out a key, he reveals it to be the long-awaited gift his sister desired – her beloved classic car in cherry red. Babita and the rest of the family join the celebration as Virat playfully tosses the key to Nimrit. Amidst the excitement, Mami turns to her husband and asks about the car’s worth. As she learns its expensive price, she is taken aback. Amruta can’t help but think about how Virat has enough money to splurge on a car for his sister yet not enough to assist someone in need.
Amruta observes Birju Kaka serving water to Virat and then follows him to the kitchen. She enters, apologizing for overhearing their conversation, and explains that the medicine can be obtained from the store outside on credit. Birju Kaka expresses concern about taking money from Amruta, but she reassures him that she did not give him any money and that he does not need to repay her. As Amruta turns to leave, she is surprised to find Virat in the kitchen, asking Birju Kaka if she is bothering him. Despite Birju’s attempt to deny it, Virat asks if he is hiding something from Amruta. Finally, Birju admits that he was short of money for the medicine, and Amruta arranged for it to be obtained on credit.
When Birju leaves, Amruta asks Virat if he needs anything, and Virat replies that this is his kitchen and he can come here whenever he wants. He asks Amruta to serve all the guests the wine, but she replies that she has to serve the food and that he should give the wine to someone else.
A young Birju asks Virat if his mother is stressed. Virat replies that his mother is stressed and asks Birju to come to him and his father for such work. As soon as Amruta returns, Virat irritates her, and she replies that she came here to get the sweets for his guests. As Virat sees that the dish is decorated with bank notes, he insists he will bring them, but Amruta offers when he says she should tell them that Virat Ahuja is getting them.
After picking up the necklace and explaining that it is for Birju, Virat reassures him that he can cover all costs without his mother’s knowledge. Amruta, holding a plate of sweets, catches Shekar’s attention as she smiles at Virat. She quietly tells Shekar that she needs to leave because her mother is unwell, to which he agrees without drawing attention to their conversation.
After Rajeev tells Virat he will be here after a while, Virat tries to stop him, saying they have arranged such a significant function for him, and even Pandit Ji is here, so he cannot leave. When Rajeev refuses to talk to the client, Virat offers to do so; Rajeev says he cannot always rely on Virat or his parents, so he must do it by himself, so Nimrit will want to see it.
However, Babita replies that no matter what Virat does for him, it won’t be enough. The Shekhawats are talking to each other. She says Rajeev is going to meet her again, which shouldn’t have happened, but he asks if she doesn’t remember the tantrum he caused when they tried to stop him the last time. He suggests that they make sure he comes back as soon as possible.
Rajeev assures Babita and Nimrit that he will return promptly. However, if there is a delay, they shouldn’t worry since they are all together. Babita agrees, reminding Rajeev to prioritize his meeting as everything is under control. Virat questions why she allowed Rajeev to leave, expressing concern for Nimrit’s feelings. Nimrit reassures them she has no issue with it, pointing out that Virat would also leave her alone in the theater. With their parents anxious, Virat agrees and bids farewell to Rajeev before he departs.
Amruta strolls, pondering the house help’s words about Rajeev intercepting her dress delivery. She is confident that he orchestrated it all and contemplates ways to find evidence against him. Suddenly, Amruta is taken aback as she witnesses a girl halting an auto. She considers questioning her, but her shock intensifies when Rajeev appears to embrace her. In response, Amruta retreats to gather information on him. Tara storms over in anger, questioning Rajeev’s actions as he initially claimed only to meet the girl at his parents’ request but now agrees to marry her.
Rajeev explains that he cannot compliment Nimrit as she does not compare to Tara. Amruta recalls her father’s struggles in their relationship. Rajeev mentions Virat’s pressure to marry Nimrit and how he plans to leave her eventually. He suggests finding a more private place to talk. After hugging Tara, Rajeev leaves with her while Amruta takes a photo of them. As she walks away, Amruta resolves to prevent anyone else from falling victim to Bhawani Chitnus’ deceit.
Walking while covered in the blanket, Virat tells Nimrit he brought her ice cream, but she replies that if their aunt saw her eating it, it would hurt her a lot. As Virat assures Nimrit that Mom is asleep, he explains that she is best just the way she is and that Mom loves both of them a great deal. Nimrit replies that she loves him even more, so he is sure no one will come.
Nimrit is taken aback upon hearing someone approaching. Virat quickly informs her that ABC may have returned to spread some gossip about them. However, Amruta clarified that she forgot something and returned to retrieve it. She decides not to reveal the truth to Virat and Nimrit. Interested, Virat follows Amruta and inquires about what she had forgotten. Offended, Amruta asks if he considers her a liar. Nimrit interjects, questioning why anyone would trust her. Gazing at Nimrit, Amruta responds that, eventually, she will earn her trust. Meanwhile, Virat continues to stare at her intently.
