As the episode opens, Kavya forcefully pushes Adi off the bed, and he yells out in pain. Startled by his screams, she wakes up and inquires about what happened. Adi tells her that she unintentionally kicked him during her sleep, causing him to fall off the bed. Kavya checks the time and panics, realizing that she must also fulfil her duties as a daughter-in-law. Adi embraces and hands her clothes, instructing her to shower before starting her chores. When Kavya returns from bathing, she finds Adi asleep and smiles affectionately at him. Feeling guilty for oversleeping, she apologizes for being unable to help with the household work. Adi lightens the mood with a joke. Meanwhile, Omi and Giriraj discuss Kavya’s presence in the family. Curious about why she was brought home, Omi mentions that she can uncover Navya’s innocence regarding the tainted vaccine incident. He reveals that he was formerly the company’s CEO responsible for producing the contaminated vaccine and had unknowingly signed off on its production. He expresses remorse for not foreseeing its deadly consequences and fears that Navya.
Adi calls Kavya out. She leaves. Giriraj calms Omi. They go out. Malini says Kavya can’t make food during the first rasoi ritual because she didn’t take leave. He takes the dummy figures and jokes on Kavya. He takes the dummy figures and says okay, that’s okay. He says I want to see how you manage everything. She says I will manage everything. I took leave and made breakfast, and we’ll have breakfast together.
Malini informs that you woke up early this morning. Their servant added that she had also prepared breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. Kavya invites them to take a seat while she serves the food. After accepting the gift and receiving blessings, Giriraj mentions holding a Jagrata ceremony to bring good fortune to their upcoming marriage. Concerned about preparations, Malini questions how they will manage everything. Adi interjects, expressing his desire to take Kavya out today, but Malini suggests postponing another time. Giriraj then informs them of the important guests he has invited and reminds Malini that she must join him in performing the puja. Worrying about Kavya’s ability to handle all this, Malini is comforted by Giriraj’s reassurance that Alka can assist. However, when told that Alka is unwell and unavailable, Giriraj remembers instructing her to feign sickness. In a dilemma over what to do next, he turns to Malini and asks if she believes his “best bahu” can handle everything independently.
Adi expresses concern about how she will manage alone, given that Maharaj is there to help. Giriraj mentions that Ghar Laxmi is responsible for cooking the food and asks Kavya if she can handle it. Kavya confidently replies in the affirmative, while Malini adds that she will assist her. Adi also offers to help, but Kavya and Malini are already busy cooking. Dil jhoom… is playing as Malini calls the guests over. Amidst the cheerful music, Kavya’s phone begins to ring. She answers the call and hears Kajri crying on the other end. Some goons seem to have barged into her place and are causing chaos. Kavya immediately asks if anyone is helping them, but Kajri insists that she come over and assist. Keeping her calm, Kavya offers to take care of it and calls. Unfortunately, Chadda Sir is currently on leave, so she asks someone else if they can go to the police station instead. The person jokingly mentions that he wasn’t even invited to her wedding with Giriraj’s son and adds how she has now entered a life of luxury. Brushing it off, Kavya explains that she needs him to do this favour due to her one day of leave. Unbeknownst to her, Omi overhears their conversation with concern. Adi suggests that Kavya take care of the situation, but she reminds him how important this task is for all of them. Seeing the urgency in Malini’s expression, they both agree to help.
According to Giriraj, the temple has yet to be cleaned. Kavya then requests Malini to handle the task, but she is unsure what is happening. Giriraj reiterates that the temple needs cleaning. Without hesitation, Kavya offers to take care of it while also preparing Prasad with the assistance of Adi, who has been tasked by their father to purchase items for the puja. As Adi leaves to complete his errand, Kavya continues with her duties. The servant praises her hard work, and Adi can’t help but smile while he watches her. The two engage in playful water activities until Kajri informs them that no one has arrived yet. Adi asks if she would like to leave, and Kavya admits she should, but she is concerned about being a good bahu (daughter-in-law). She ponders her next move.
