Prachi engages in a heated argument with Ranbir. In response, Ranbir requests Akshay to stand alongside Prachi, believing that she will appreciate it.. Shahana asks Ashok what happened? Ashok answers Prachi, Akshay, and everyone are in the mall. Shera is spotted in disguise in the line. Prachi tells the inspector to arrest Shera and the others, claiming they are involved with the thieves.
Upon witnessing this, Shera seizes Prachi and demands the cooperation of the cops to allow their escape. As the cops step aside, Shera orders his men to open the door. Seeing a gun next to Akshay, Ranbir instructs him to retrieve it, but Akshay’s fear prevents him from doing so. Without hesitation, Ranbir grabs the gun and signals for Prachi to take cover. As she does so, he aims at Shera and fires, hitting him in the shoulder. The cops then proceed to apprehend the thieves while Akshay’s family helps Prachi stand up and Mihika assists Ranbir.
Manpreet asks the cops where the kids are. She sees her kids and approaches them. Prachi asks Shahana what is she doing here? Ranbir asks Shahana why she’s crying? Ranbir says everyone is fine. Mihika notices Ranbir has been injured and asks Ranbir about it. Ranbir says it’s a minor injury.
Later on, Prachi tells Shahana that Ranbir and Mihika are engaged. Shahana is surprised when she hears this. Daljeet sees Ranbir and takes Pallavi away from there, making up a false reason to get her away. Ashok tells the kids they should return home. Shahana inquires with Ashok’s family about the possibility of bringing Prachi along with her. Ranbir gives his consent, and Manpreet also agrees. Shahana proceeds to take Prachi with her.
Prachi remembers what happened and says Ranbir understands what this Mangalsutra means to her, while Akshay just perceives it as an expensive piece of jewelry.
Ranbir was praised by Tandon’s family for saving Prachi from the thieves. Akshay said he also was about to save Prachi, but he got cramps in his leg, so he wasn’t able to move forward. Ashok asks the kids to rest for a while. Akshay leaves from there when Ranbir says he was there and he saw Akshay was fine and that he was scared to pick up the gun. Ranbir asks Akshay why he is being double faced.
Akshay approaches Mihika, urging her to intervene and keep Ranbir away from his wife. He expresses concern over Ranbir’s constant presence around Prachi, and also reminds Mihika of how Ranbir risked his life to save her. Mihika responds by suggesting that the reason Ranbir saved Prachi was because Akshay lacked the courage to do so. She further adds that Ranbir only helped Prachi because she signaled him to do it, and not out of genuine concern. Agitated by this, Akshay vows to prove that Ranbir is in love with Prachi, and threatens to harm him in the process. However, Mihika remains unfazed, stating that she is not bothered as he will never be able to prove his claims.
Shahana asks Prachi what’s wrong. Prachi says she doesn’t know what’s wrong, but it’s incorrect and Ranbir remembers everything. Shahana asks Prachi what happened. Prachi says Ranbir questioned her about Akshay.
