Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 18th December 2025 Written Update takes a dramatic turn as guilt, manipulation, and unresolved emotions dominate the episode, pushing Mihir further into isolation while Tulsi begins a quiet life away from Shanti Niketan.
The episode begins with Pari struggling to adjust to her new life after marrying Ranvijay. Staying in a chawl, she feels deeply uncomfortable when she realises that her room does not have a private washroom and that she must use a common one. As Pari steps out and stands in the queue, she is stunned to see Tulsi there. Shocked and confused, Pari immediately calls Hrithik, who tells her everything that unfolded at Shanti Niketan the previous night after her bidaai.
Meanwhile, Gayatri visits Noina and congratulates her for breaking Mihir and Tulsi’s marriage. In a shocking conversation, Gayatri assures Noina that she will get her married to Mihir, but clearly states that she wants full power in the house. It is also revealed that Karan and Nandini are on their way back to India after learning about the turmoil through their son Parth, who informs them about the situation.
Later, Gayatri returns home and calls Mihir to the living area. The entire Virani family gathers, sensing that something serious is about to unfold. Gayatri bluntly tells Mihir that he should marry Noina. The announcement shocks everyone present. Shobha and Hrithik react strongly, clearly opposing Gayatri’s suggestion.
Gayatri begins manipulating Mihir emotionally, blaming him for everything that has happened in Noina’s life. She claims that Mihir is responsible for Noina’s pain and suffering. Hemant, Shobha, Ritik, and other family members stand firmly against Gayatri’s demand. However, Kiran supports Gayatri, further intensifying the divide within the family.
Taking things a step further, Gayatri brings Noina into the house and forces Mihir to look at her. She reminds everyone that Noina has already attempted suicide once and raises the fear that she might try again. Chaos erupts in Shanti Niketan as emotions run high and voices clash from all sides.
Unable to take the pressure anymore, Mihir finally shouts and declares that he will never marry Noina. He storms into his room, leaving the family stunned.
Inside his room, Mihir is shown battling his conscience. He imagines his alter ego speaking to him from the mirror, confronting him with his mistakes and reminding him of the pain he has caused. Overwhelmed and irritated by his own reflection, Mihir loses control and breaks the mirror, symbolising his shattered state of mind and deep inner conflict.
The episode closes on a powerful note, highlighting Mihir’s loneliness and the irreversible damage caused by betrayal, manipulation, and silence.
