The episode begins with Jaya feeling the absence of Durga. Her close friends, Kaveri and Vaiju, offer her a comforting hug as they all become emotionally overwhelmed. Jaya seeks their opinion on which dupatta to wear for the occasion, and Vaiju suggests the green one. After Jaya puts it on, they both shower her with compliments. In the chaos, Arhaan accidentally spills some haldi, and Jaya suggests taking a selfie together. Vaiju volunteers to be the photographer as she captures the moment. She desires to hold onto these memories forever, knowing everything will change after marriage. Kaveri says she plans to let loose and dance at Ranvijay’s baraat ceremony. Vaiju chimes in by saying she will also join in on the fun. Jaya jokingly asks if Vaiju will leave her to go with Ranvijay instead, to which Vaiju reassures her that she would never do such a thing.
Jaya apologizes for her joke, and the two embrace. Meanwhile, Jaikant is on a call. Vaiju notices Haldi on the ground and realizes it may have fallen from the potli, so she retrieves it. Sulekha notices her actions and inquiries about the haldi, as the bride and groom traditionally wear it during weddings. She becomes agitated and repeatedly asks Vaiju how she came across it. Just then, Vasundhara and Ranvijay enter the room. Sulekha urges Vasundhara to question Vaiju about the haldi. In response, Vaiju lies to them all. Feeling sorry for her situation, Vasundhara expresses her disapproval of men abandoning their wives in such a manner and praises Vaiju for keeping hold of the haldi. She then turns to Sulekha and asks why she is interrogating Vaiju.
She reassures Ranvijay that Amba Bai will protect the girl. To answer his question, Vaiju explained that it had been left in the room by mistake. When he persists, she insists that she did not throw it away because the signs given to her by her suhaag were sacred, and throwing them would go against her values. She then leaves the room. Later, Sandeep covers Ragini’s eyes and leads her to a room where he reveals a surprise of cash and jewelry. Ragini recognizes it as her parent’s room, and Sandeep urges her to take what is rightfully hers and help him. However, she refuses to be dishonest with her family and refuses to participate in stealing from them, even when he becomes angry with her.
