The Episode begins with Ranvijay questioning Vaiju about always considering him fragile and living in a village with a mere namesake. Vaiju confirms this and points out he is seeking shelter from the rain. Ranvijay, feeling helpless, explains that he has an important meeting to attend, and the client is already waiting for him. He decides to call his manager and apologize to the client. Afterward, he calls out to Vaiju, who appears with an umbrella of large banana leaves. Confused, he asks her about it, and she suggests he ride the bike while she stands as his shield under the shade. Initially hesitant, Ranvijay finally trusts her, and they set off on the bike, with the song Behta hai mann kahin… playing in the background.
As they speak, she embraces him. He smiles and reflects on his tranquility, wondering if there’s something special about the raindrops. His mind wanders to a conversation with Vaiju about this very moment. Vaiju had mentioned wanting to spend her whole life with him, but now he’s not by her side. Kaveri notices them but can’t see their faces. She wonders who the other girl is. Suddenly, Ranvijay and Vaiju tumble off their bike. Concerned, he asks if she’s injured. She reassures him that she’s okay. But he insists there’s no need for such risks now. Worriedly, she points out his ruined clothes and how he won’t be able to go to the mill like this. She apologizes for the mishap.
He thanks her for explaining the beauty of rain and how happy he feels today. They share a smile before jumping into the water to enjoy themselves. He suggests they head home now, and they leave. Vasundhara had reminded Ranvijay to come home on time due to a critical puja, but he was late. Jaya reassures her that he will go because he has an important meeting. Kaveri arrives and asks if they know about his meeting. Jaya questions her meaning, and Kaveri reveals that she saw him with a girl riding on a bike. She advises Jaya not to trust him blindly.
Sulekha asks who that girl is. Kaveri says I could not see her face. Sulekha says, “I feel bad for you.” Ranvijay and Vaiju come home. She sneezes. He says you caught a cold. He also sneezes. She laughs. He finds her shivering and covers her with a towel. He tells her not to act strong. She asks him to leave. He goes inside. Vasundara stops Sulekha. Sulekha says, “Look, Ranvijay has come. I can’t see the family losing respect. I’ll ask him.”
Vasundhara shares that Jaya fully trusts Ranvijay, but Sulekha interjects, saying Kaveri accused Ranvijay of something today and the villagers may question him tomorrow. However, Ranvijay interrupts, asking for an explanation. Kaveri reveals that she saw Ranvijay with a girl on his bike and came to express her concerns for Jaya’s well-being. Jaya quickly defends Ranvijay. Sulekha then urges him to name the girl he was seen with. To everyone’s surprise, Vaiju walks in and confesses to being the girl in question. She explains that Ranvijay had taken her to speak to Aaji and that they had been caught in the rain before falling off the bike. Jaya confirms this to Sulekha, who is quick to point out that it was Kaveri who first doubted Ranvijay’s intentions.
I know Ranvijay well. He loves Jaya, can never hurt her, and will never cheat her, so you should not have questioned him in front of everyone, Vaiju says. My apologies, Kaveri says. I was afraid for Jaya because every husband isn’t a cheater.
