Janvi encourages Ujwala, telling her that her wish will come true one day and that she should stay strong. She stops the hotel staff from throwing away leftover food. Janvi says she takes it to an orphanage in Gwalior and asks Ujwala to accompany her. She says she feels happy seeing the children eat it, and Ujwala agrees.
Kian inquires of his grandmother Shobha about the reason people rub their noses and hold their ears at Goddess Bhagwati’s feet. She clarifies that it is a form of repentance for their sins and seeking forgiveness. Interested in speaking with Kian, Aryaman asks him to come over. Kian then instructs Premchand to relay to Aryaman that he will only converse if he completes the same ritual at the Goddess’s feet. Agreeing, Aryaman performs the act. This surprises Premchand. As a blessing from the Goddess, the Pandit gives Aryaman Sindhur and applies it to him.
During Janvi’s departure from the orphanage, Aryaman finds her and tells her he wants to apply the Sindhur, blessed by the Goddess, to her. Aryaman touches his forehead to Janvi’s and then leaves. As Ujwala and Janvi visit the orphanage, she feels happy seeing the children eating and thanks Janvi for bringing her. They hear a baby crying and go to check. Janvi asks the orphanage staff when the baby arrives.
According to the staff, the baby might have been abandoned by a helpless mother. They register the baby. Janvi recalls almost leaving Kian at the orphanage doorstep when he was born. Ujwala takes the baby, who stops crying in her arms. Ujwala believes it’s a sign from the Goddess and decides to adopt the baby, telling Janvi. Janvi agrees. Raina tells Brij Bhushan that Ujwala makes her feel guilty about keeping the baby. Brij Bhushan assures Raina that he will speak with Ujwala about it.
Ujwala arrives home with the baby and announces the adoption, only to face opposition and criticism from Brij Bhushan. Despite Ujwala’s attempts to reason with him, he remains adamant. Janvi, however, reminds Brij Bhushan that adopting the baby is a noble act, and the Goddess has blessed their relationship. She takes the baby from Ujwala, who soothes the crying infant when she holds him again. Janvi points out this as evidence of the bond created by the Goddess. Raina interjects, telling Janvi to stop lecturing and making a remark about her instead.
