Kusum assured me that I would receive a proposal this week. Unfortunately, Ishana is experiencing discomfort in her stomach. She explains, “My stomach hurts a lot, and I don’t think I can go to school.” Mangla offers to make her a cup of tea. Akshar chuckles and remarks, “She’s scared of her paper.” Ishana confesses that she ate chocolate and adds, “The paper is tough.” Adit asks if she’s not planning to take the paper. Mangal urges her to be honest so they can assist her. Ishana insists they won’t understand and states, “Papa, trigonometry is too difficult for me. I studied all the lessons, but I’m struggling with the remaining questions.”
“So, you’re just telling me this now? The day before the paper?” She informed me that she had only just seen the syllabus and was unaware that it included trigonometry. Her voice trembles as she expresses her fear of failing. Mangal attempts to reassure her, saying, “You are brilliant. Your father will teach you. You will understand trig.” Adit interjects, stating, “You can’t even pronounce it.” However, he quickly adds, “But don’t worry, it’s not that difficult. I can teach you.” Mangal agrees and says with confidence, “See? Papa will solve our problem. Remember, you can always share any difficulty with your parents. Never run away from your troubles.”
Adit is currently teaching Ishana, who seems to be feeling quite tired. Akshar finds this amusing, and Mangal kindly reminds him not to disturb her. She then offers Ishana some milk to help her stay awake. During their lesson, Lakshmi calls, and Mangal informs her that Ishana has a trigonometry paper to prepare for. Lakshmi apologized for not being available earlier, as she was busy with work. Concerned, Mangal asks if she has eaten yet, and Lakshmi assures her she has. However, she remembers Shanti asking her to fast and worrying about causing trouble for everyone else. She confesses that their mother is now looking for a marriage proposal for her, and Mangal reassures her by saying that their mother only wants what’s best for her. He adds that he is grateful for their mother taking on this responsibility and believes she will find the perfect match for Lakshmi. Overwhelmed with emotions, Ishana gratefully hugs Adit and thanks him for his help.
Somaiya and Adit are on a date, and while Adit brings her coffee, Mangal calls him. Somaiya expresses frustration with these interruptions but assures Adit that they will not come between them. She turns off his phone and accepts the coffee from him. Meanwhile, Kusum shares her hopes for Ishana’s upcoming exam, and Papa asks Mangal about Lakshmi’s well-being. Mangal mentions how Shanti constantly bothers her, to which Kusum agrees that she is not good with her. Mangal then wishes for Shanti to marry soon in a good household and asks if there is anyone special in Kusum’s life. Kusum confirms this, and Mangal probes further by asking if they know this person.
Kusum affirms while Ishana’s school contacts them. Mangal expresses concern and questions the reason. She reassures him that they will go there. Mangal reveals that Ishana was caught cheating at school, and the administration wants to speak with her parents. They have even threatened to expel her, which Mangal believes is unjust, given that Ishana is incapable of such actions. Overcome with emotion, she pleads to let her call Adit. He would be able to handle the situation with the school. Unfortunately, Adit’s phone is switched off when Mangal tries calling him. Somaiya suggests that they won’t be interrupted in their current location and that Adit won’t have to deal with distractions from his wife. However, he suddenly realizes his phone is vibrating and that Somaiya is calling him. She offers to step out of the car so he can answer, but Adit adamantly refuses, stating that nothing is more important than being by her side. He promptly silences his phone before Mangal continues calling in vain. She assumes Adit must be occupied in a meeting and decides she needs to go to the school since Ishana must be anxious about the situation.
Karthik meets Jiya and her mom. Her mom says we should do the engagement. Gayatri asks why so soon. Her mom says they’ve been dating for two years. He was scared, so he didn’t let you know. Karthik hides things he doubts. Maybe he wasn’t sure if this relationship was good. Jiya’s mom says both of them want to get engaged. I don’t think there are any doubts among them.
Jiya has to go to the USA for 40 days, and she has dance shows. They’re both so talented. They’re made for each other. Gayatri says I need time to think. Jiya’s mom asks why. The kids want it. We will make everything happen. There is nothing complicated. We should think about our kids. Karthik asks Gayatri. She agrees. Jiya’s mom congratulates Jiya.
Sonu brings Lakshmi tea and her favorite biscuits. However, she declines the offer. He inquires about Shanti’s opinion, but she insists on not having any tea. Right at that moment, Shanti enters and accidentally spills the tea, resulting in a burn on Lakshmi’s hand. She warns Lakshmi of being cursed and asks why she is drinking tea despite being asked to fast by Baba Ji. Lipika accuses her of disrespecting Baba Ji, while Sonu questions who Baba Ji is. He reveals that this is the reason why Lakshmi has been refusing food lately and suggests informing Mangal about it. Shanti interrupts, reminding Sonu that he works for them and should focus on his own tasks. Despite this argument, Lakshmi pleads with Shanti not to scold Sonu and insists on accompanying her to see Baba Ji.
Mangal arrives at the school, where the Principal immediately confronts Ishana, expressing disappointment in her actions. However, Ishana stands her ground and denies any wrongdoing, tearfully insisting on her innocence. Mangal steps in to defend her, stating that she is not capable of cheating. Despite this, the Principal reaffirms their strict stance against cheating and apologizes for having to potentially expel Ishana. As Mangal struggles to understand English, the discussion shifts to Hindi, causing Ishana to feel ashamed and embarrassed.
