Mangal Lakshmi 17th November 2024 Written Episode begins with Ishana asking Akshar if he will take part in the fancy dress competition, reminding him that he always wanted to be an astronaut. Adit also encourages him, saying that if he wants to join NASA, he must participate. But Akshar refuses and leaves. Ishana declares she won’t participate either because she can’t perform without her brother. Kusum joins in, saying she won’t go to the temple, and Adit jokes that he won’t go to his office meeting. Hearing this, Akshar asks everyone not to change their plans because of him. He tells Adit to go to work, Kusum to visit the temple, and Ishana to perform her dance. She says she doesn’t want to go without him since he cheers the loudest for her. Akshar smiles and agrees to attend the event, though he says he won’t participate. Adit tells him to do what makes him comfortable.

Meanwhile, Jiya surprises Karthik, revealing that she owns the fashion label he is working for. Karthik is shocked and says he wants nothing to do with her. Jiya insists that he must fulfil his contract and participate in the photoshoot or face legal action. Karthik refuses to cooperate and walks out. Soon, Lakshmi and Gayatri arrive at the studio. Karthik is surprised to see them. Gayatri tells him they came because Lakshmi wanted to see his shoot. Karthik hesitates and says the crew is still setting up, suggesting they all have lunch instead.

At the school event, Mangal hears a child crying. A worried mother searches for her missing son. Mangal finds the injured boy and tends to his wound, comforting him and saying they need to visit a doctor. Ishana and Akshar arrive at the same time with Adit. When Mangal returns with the boy, he runs into his mother’s arms. The mother thanks Mangal tearfully and asks everyone to applaud her bravery. She calls Mangal a superhero. The children cheer for Akshar, saying his mom is a supermom. The other mothers also thank Mangal and apologise for misunderstanding her earlier. They praise her kindness and courage, saying she is truly an inspiration. Akshar hugs Mangal tightly, saying, “I love you, mama.” A man compliments Adit, telling him he is lucky to have a wife like her.

Elsewhere, Jiya arrives at the office to discuss the campaign brief. Gayatri acts shocked to see her there. Karthik tries to talk to Lakshmi, saying he has something important to tell her. Gayatri confronts Jiya, asking what she is doing at their office. Jiya replies that she is there to make Karthik hers, adding that it’s exactly what Gayatri wants too.

Back at the event, Ishana performs a beautiful dance. Mangal and Kusum cheer for her, and Adit praises the performance, calling it mind-blowing. Mangal says she wishes Akshar had performed as well since he was so excited before. Adit retorts bitterly that it’s her fault his dreams were broken. The host then announces that Akshar will perform next.

Akshar takes the stage and speaks from the heart. He says, “You must be wondering why I’m wearing this costume. Everyone here came dressed as what they want to become in the future. Ishana wants to be a dancer, and I wanted to be an astronaut, but I change my dream every day—sometimes I want to be Ronaldo, sometimes Shahrukh Khan. But today I just want to be my mom’s best son. I love you, mama. I’m proud of you.” The audience claps loudly. Mangal’s eyes fill with tears as she hugs Akshar on stage, saying, “You’re my pride.” Adit, however, quietly leaves.

Mangal later apologises to Akshar for the teasing he faced because of her. He smiles and says everyone now calls her a superhero. When she asks why he didn’t share his feelings earlier, he says he didn’t want to worry her. They both apologise to each other, and Mangal lovingly tells him to always be honest with her. Akshar then says he wants to eat ice cream, and Mangal agrees with a smile.

Meanwhile, Gayatri returns to Karthik and says she needs her medicine. Lakshmi offers to get it for her. Karthik explains to Gayatri that he didn’t know Jiya owned the label and would never have signed the contract if he had known. He decides that it’s time to tell Lakshmi the truth about his past with Jiya.

At home, Akshar shares ice cream with Sudesh. Soumya watches the family’s happiness and feels jealous. She asks Adit if everything worked out at the event. He replies that he has to return to the office, and Soumya insists on coming along. Kusum asks her if she called the plumber, and Soumya says he will come later. Mangal, meanwhile, enjoys ice cream with the children. Kusum remarks that she looks happier than ever. Suddenly, Mangal receives a message about an urgent order she needs to complete. She worries that there isn’t enough time. Kusum encourages her, saying she can manage everything. Mangal nods determinedly and says she cannot afford to lose this opportunity.
