Adit runs after her, but Soumya stops him, reminding him their pheras are incomplete. Adit insists he must go after Mangal, fearing she will reveal the truth to everyone. Soumya says the chaos was bound to happen and that Mangal will now tell everyone what he could not. Adit explains he wanted his mother to accept them first and warns that if she finds out now, she will never forgive him. Soumya urges him to complete the wedding, but Adit refuses, saying he cannot abandon his family. He calls Soumya selfish for not caring about her own parents and explains that he loves his family too much to leave them. He throws the wedding knot into the fire and runs out, leaving Soumya stunned.

Mangal runs aimlessly on the roads, replaying every painful memory of Adit insulting her and calling her unworthy of him. Lost in her thoughts, she collapses. Meanwhile, Karthik realises Lakshmi was trying to warn them about Adit signing divorce papers. He grows worried for Mangal and decides to find her. He calls Kusum to check if she is home, but Kusum says she is not with them either.

Soon, Mangal is spotted sitting outside her house in a broken state. Neighbours look at her and whisper. Kusum is shocked to see her condition and rushes to her. One woman remarks that Mangal looks as if she has been beaten, recalling earlier accusations of domestic violence against Adit. Kusum angrily dismisses it as a false case, but concern grows among the neighbours.

Mangal silently enters the house and looks at her wedding photo with Adit. Overwhelmed, she breaks down and mutters that Adit is marrying Soumya. She recalls all the hints she ignored and laughs bitterly at her own innocence. She blames herself for being blind and naive, clapping in a state of shock. Kusum and Sudesh try to calm her down. Kusum begs her to explain what happened, while Mangal hugs her and cries, asking why Adit betrayed her. Kusum fears Mangal may have seen the divorce papers and tries to reassure her that they are fake. She insists Adit cannot betray her, but Mangal recalls witnessing him taking pheras with Soumya.

Kusum tries to console her by saying he only took pheras with Mangal, not anyone else, while Sudesh becomes furious at Adit’s behaviour. He vows not to forgive him. Just then, Adit enters the house.

At the temple, Soumya fumes after Adit abandons her. The pandit declares the wedding incomplete. Soumya feels humiliated, saying she is left standing alone in bridal attire. She cries bitterly and vows not to let Adit escape her.

Back home, Kusum confronts Adit, asking why he lied about his boss’s accident. She demands answers and asks him to confirm that the divorce papers are fake and that he never intended to leave Mangal. Mangal intervenes and asks Kusum to open her eyes to the truth. She says that regardless of who prepared the papers, Adit signed them. She insists that no one else will talk now, as she alone will ask the questions, and Adit must give his answers.
