She informs Sanjana. Sanjana questions when this happened but decides to let it go. Kusum suggests they proceed with the pooja now.
Mangal and Lakshmi are dressed in matching sarees, while Ishana performs the arti for Adit and Akshar. Mayank admires their family dynamic and comments on its beauty. Mangal then realizes that they still have to complete the rakhi ceremony. The siblings lovingly tie rakhi on each other’s wrists and exchange gifts, a tradition they have been following every year, according to Kusum.
Mayank and Somiya are in the car. She tells him to drop her off at that location. He questions why she is staying at a hotel. She explains that her house is currently undergoing renovations. He reassures her that they will soon be living together. In her mind, she ponders how she can distance herself from him.
As Mangal enters the room, Adit immediately questions his decision to bring Ishana home. He demands to know who permitted him. Mangal explains that Ishana was unwell, and he went with Lakshmi. Adit responds sternly, reminding him that they have doctors for such situations. Gayatri then scolds Lakshmi for accompanying Mangal without informing her first, as everyone assumed she was unaware of their visit.
I told Sanjana, according to Lakshmi. “Stop lying,” says Gayatri. The only honest people are you and your sister. Don’t deceive Karthik. I don’t meddle in my sister’s affairs. My family comes first. “But,” Lakshmi says. Gayatri says enough. Adit claims that Ishana won’t come home when I insist she won’t. Do not dare oppose me. I will make all the decisions of children. So a mother is no one, she says?
As Ishana undergoes her test, fear consumes her. Mangal offers her a warm cup of tea while distracting her from the doctor’s procedures to ease her worry. Afterwards, Ishana expresses her desire to rest in her room. However, Sanjana questions why Mangal didn’t inform their mother of something she had disclosed to him. Irritated by his actions, Sanjana warns him not to overstep his boundaries. Lakshmi chimes in, advising against creating unnecessary conflicts. Frustrated, Sanjana orders Mangal to leave the room. Concerned about the situation, Mangal calls Lakshmi to confirm if everything is alright. Relieved by Lakshmi’s reassurance, he rests easily, knowing all is well.
Mangal explains that she went out to purchase supplies for Akshar’s school but unfortunately forgot her bag at home. Meanwhile, Ishana reaches out to Somiya and wonders why her aunt is not answering her calls. Seeking some company, she calls Somiya and asks for suggestions. Later, while dancing in her room, Mangal arrives and advises Ishana to take a break. When Mangal notices Ishana dancing, she expresses concern as Ishana is still unwell and should be resting instead of engaging in physical activity.
As Adit arrives home, he brings a gift with him. Mangal curiously asks who the gift is for. After taking her wheelchair inside, Adit reveals it is for Mangal. Papa then inquires about the purpose of the gift, to which Adit responds that it is to show his gratitude for her role in raising his children. He urges her to open it, and as she does, she discovers Ishana’s blood report. With a gentle tone, he reminds Mangal that this result reflects her upbringing and responsibility as a mother – Ishana does not have an infection despite her previous claim.
