Mangal Lakshmi 1st December 2024 Written Episode opens with Adit examining all the proofs. Soumya tries to explain that she burned some old papers while cleaning and that Adit’s invoices might have gotten mixed up and burned by mistake. Mangal questions how such important papers could be burned so casually and how Soumya also collected them by mistake. She says Soumya is giving excuses like a child. Mangal adds that Adit will not say anything because he only knows how to count her mistakes. He would insult her for sweating in the kitchen or folding napkins incorrectly, and now he is making her the culprit for something she never did. She says he still chooses to trust Soumya.

Soumya tells Adit that she only went to the office to pick up keys and accuses Mangal of planning everything to trap her. She insists she would never risk his reputation. Mangal tells Adit that although he wants to remain silent, she will not. She says she will tell Mr Sharma the truth, because Soumya even questioned her character. She reminds him that neither of them is at fault and that the truth has come out.

Mangal leaves to find Mr Sharma. On the way, Soumya causes Eisha to fall, but Mangal helps her up and checks if she is fine. Soumya then approaches Mr Sharma and claims she made a big mistake by burning the invoices while cleaning her desk. She appears emotional and says she does not know how it happened. Mr Sharma is furious and questions how such an error can happen by mistake. She apologises repeatedly, but Mr Sharma scolds her for staying silent when Adit and Mangal were facing accusations. He says their client has already left and he cannot take this lightly. Soumya continues to apologise and promises to get all the invoices back.

Mangal enters and shows Mr Sharma the remaining bills. Soumya immediately apologises to Mangal as well and begs for one more chance. She pleads with Adit and promises never to repeat the mistake. Mr Sharma apologises to both Adit and Mangal for blaming them without proper investigation. Mangal replies that this situation is not a coincidence. Soumya says she will retrieve all the invoices. Mr Sharma agrees and says he will speak to the client but warns that this is her final chance. He hopes Adit and Mangal will also forgive her since they work as a family.

Adit says the office is like a temple for him and he is relieved the allegations against him are cleared. Mr Sharma leaves. Eisha hugs Mangal and the staff claps for her. People apologise to both Mangal and Adit for misunderstanding them.

Soumya is distressed and wonders what she will do next and how she will speak to Adit. Mangal arrives and Soumya asks what she wants now. Mangal says there is no need for drama since no one else is present. She tells Soumya she knows the act was intentional, meant to trap her and have her fired. She questions why Soumya would do such a thing to Adit if she claimed to love him. Mangal warns her that she is letting it go this time, but she must never try to harm her again. She says she is not weak or foolish and will not forgive her the next time.

Jiya is drinking at home while waiting for Karthik. She vows that he will not leave her after tonight. Karthik rushes in while Jiya hides.

Adit returns home angry and goes straight to his room. Kusum wonders what happened. When Mangal enters, she tells Kusum that Soumya was responsible for everything. Soumya then goes to Adit and asks why he is ignoring her. She says he left her alone at the office and she had to take an auto. She apologises again, but he says her apology cannot fix anything. He questions why she did not speak up earlier when he was being blamed, saying she showed no concern for him. He says that if Mangal had not found the proofs, Soumya would still be silent.

Soumya accuses him of suddenly praising Mangal. She says she had no idea she burned the papers. Adit says she ruined his reputation and career and that his children and parents would be ashamed. He says she will never understand the weight of this mistake. Soumya pleads with him and reminds him of all the times she helped him in his career, saying he cannot forget everything for one small mistake. Adit says there is no forgiveness for this. He says Mangal applied pressure but used her intelligence to save his career today. Soumya says his heart is melting for Mangal and now he is taking her side. He says he is only thinking about his job and future. Soumya says if he cannot forgive her, she should leave the house. She says she will find another job and a hotel to stay in and will not trouble him anymore. She walks out.

Kusum says Soumya will destroy Adit and wonders why he cannot understand. Soumya tells herself that Adit will surely follow her and stop her. Adit steps out but ignores her completely and walks away. Kusum asks if Soumya is leaving and says she is glad, reminding her to close the door on her way out. Soumya leaves in anger. Kusum hugs Mangal and says Soumya has finally left and Adit did not stop her. Mangal says she is going to the temple and leaves.

Soumya secretly follows Mangal to the temple.
