Mangal Lakshmi 20th August 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
Mangal appears to be taken aback by the situation. According to her, she was experiencing significant discomfort. However, Adit contradicts her statement, claiming that she was fabricating it. She is learning these deceitful behaviours from you. It’s not uncommon for children to lie, but what kind of example are you setting as a mother? You failed to recognise her lies and could not comprehend your child. I find myself having to do what should have been my responsibility instead. Papa has mentioned that the teacher in question is Mangal. Adit comments that we are all aware of Ishana’s tendency to lie and believes that Mangal allows her the space to do so. On the other hand, Mangal insists on speaking with Ishana about this matter and suggests that she first apologise for her mistake before coming back to me with an explanation as to why sending her to the hotel was the right decision.
Dad asks, “What is this way?” He insists that this is the only method to make her grasp the situation. She will apologise and admit her wrongdoings. Will you acknowledge your mistake or not? Mangal grasps her hand and expresses remorse, saying, “I’m sorry. Please forgive me.” I can’t entirely agree with your decision, Adit interjects. Mangal asserts that sending her to a hostel won’t solve her issue of lying. If only I could give her the strength to speak the truth! For example, she may be afraid of being sent away from home. It’s not safe for children to be away from home.
“Shut up,” Adit says. He claims that a lot of children reside there. Did you offer her this pretext to return home and teach her to lie, Adit asks? Why would I do that? Mangal says. You want her to be a dancer, he says. As long as I am alive, she cannot do it. Dancing, according to Mangal, is a talent. He claims that worthless people dance. She is not permitted to compete in the dance competition. I’ll return her to the hostel, so now pack her stuff.
Mangal has stated that she will not go to the hostel, which Adit advises against to avoid angering others. As her parents, we both respect Mangal’s decision. She has made it clear that if she wishes to dance, she will do so, as it brings her joy. We believe in supporting our children’s dreams and allowing them to pursue their happiness. However, Adit questions whether I will now lecture him on this matter, pointing out Mangal’s courage and reminding me of my worth before leaving.
Kusum questions Mangal’s behaviour, asking when he began to oppose his husband. In response, Mangal expresses concern for Ishana and her tendency to lie, stating that they should not push her away. He also mentions nothing wrong with wanting to die but acknowledges that Ishana should not have lied. Nevertheless, they must find a better way to handle the situation.
Mangal and Ishana have a conversation where she is questioned about why she lied. She is also asked what could be causing her fear and if they had ever been strict with her. As Ishana sheds tears, Mangal reflects on her childhood photo and how spirited she was. He reminds her that he taught her how to speak, not how to deceive. Although Ishana apologizes, Mangal stresses that it’s not about apologies but rather honesty. He encourages her to share what’s truly weighing on her heart, even if she thinks he won’t understand, telling her it’s okay to cry either way.
Ishana reveals, “I had been yearning to return home. Being away from you all was tough.” She adds, “Dancing is something I enjoy.” Mangal confirms her sister’s words: “Papa is indeed still upset.” Mangal promises, “I will have a word with him.” Ishana expresses, “But he never listens to you.” To this, Mangal remarks, “The truth holds the most power.” She warns her not to deceive the family again, “Don’t tell lies.” Ishana apologizes for her actions, and the two share a hug. Pursuing the matter further, Mangal inquires, “Who put this idea in your head?” Sheepishl,y Ishana, admits, “My friends did.” Just then, Somiya calls her on the phone. Trying to hide it from their father, she quickly tucks away her phone.
Ishana caught up with Somiya, who was clearly distressed. “Everyone knows I lied,” she confided. “Papa won’t allow me to join the competition.” She let out a frustrated sigh. “Mom is no help,” she complained. “I ended up filling your name on the form instead of hers.” Ishana glanced nervously over her shoulder and saw Adit standing in the background. Somiya quickly said, “Mangal will be hurt if she finds out you replaced her name.” Adit approached them curiously and asked, “What are you two discussing?” Somiya hesitated before answering, “We’ve always had a strong bond. Ishana feels more comfortable sharing things with me than with Mangal.” She paused before adding, “She wants to participate in the competition but is embarrassed to do so in front of Mangal. That’s why she put my name on the form instead of hers.” Suddenly, Adit’s voice boomed across the room, calling out for Ishana.
All of us are gathered at the dinner table. Mangal apologises to Adit ji for their previous argument. Adit inquires about Ishana’s preparations. To everyone’s surprise, Ishana is taken aback by the question. Kusum agrees that Ishana’s actions were wrong but reminds us that she is still a child. Papa suggests letting the matter go, and Kusum adds that although Ishana won’t participate in the dance, she won’t be sent away to a hostel either.
