Mangal Lakshmi 20th October 2024 Written Episode begins with Adit questioning Soumya about her drama. He says they haven’t even completed the pheras, but Soumya insists they did and declares their marriage complete. Mangal is shattered, recalling the vows Adit once made to her. Soumya insists they should begin their married life with rituals and tries to perform greh pravesh, but Kusum intervenes. She shoves Soumya away, calling her shameless and declares that only Mangal is the true daughter-in-law of the house.
Mangal, broken and in tears, decides to leave. The family pleads with her to stay, but she says her self-respect has been destroyed. Kusum admits her mistake of trusting Adit and begs Mangal not to leave, even threatening to end her own life if she does. Still, Mangal refuses to live with Adit after his betrayal. She tells Kusum she will always consider her a mother but must go for her dignity’s sake.
When Mangal says she will take her children with her, Adit objects, claiming they belong in their house. Kusum shocks everyone by declaring that the children will stay with Mangal and that it is Adit who must leave. She admits she failed as a mother by protecting Adit and giving him chances, and now justice demands his expulsion. Despite Adit’s protests that this is his home, Kusum throws him out along with Soumya, locking the door behind them.
Soumya accuses Mangal of manipulating everyone into turning against Adit, but Mangal silences her. She finally asserts her strength, reminding Adit of the years she endured his insults and mistreatment only for the sake of peace. She vows to raise her children on her own and no longer be afraid of him. Kusum, Sudesh, and the family support Mangal, while Adit and Soumya are left humiliated outside.
