The woman confronts Mangla, accusing her of stealing her earrings. However, Mangla denies any involvement in the theft. The woman becomes angry, and the manager accuses Mangla of the crime. Just then, Adit enters the room. The woman turns to him and claims that his husband must have taken off with her earring. Mangal defends herself by telling them to mind their business and clarifying that they are not thieves. Adit asks for an explanation, and the woman responds by accusing his husband once again. Once more, Mangal refutes the accusation and maintains her innocence.
Adit questions, “Why are you consistently involved in dramatic situations? Explain what took place.” She responds, “I have no idea how it ended up in my bag.” Adit asserts, “We are not criminals. We have no reason to be afraid. You are wrongfully accusing her. We should call the authorities.” He adds, “If my wife did steal, I will personally ensure she gets sent to jail. But I am certain she didn’t, which is why we have nothing to fear. Let’s call the police.”
Mangal pleads, “Don’t do this, please.” The woman informs him, “We found it in your bag.” Mangal questions, “Did anyone see me putting it in there?” He suggests, “Let’s check the CCTV footage to identify who tried to frame me.” Adit nervously expresses, “I’m scared.” Mangal insists, “Show us the video.” Adit proposes, “Let’s end this by apologizing.” Mangal adamantly states, “I won’t apologise. They should apologise for falsely accusing me. They even accused you.”
Somiya dials Adit’s number but receives no answer. Mayank presents some sarees, prompting Lipika to exclaim that Somiya is fortunate. Kusum chimes in, suggesting they find a suitable match for Lipika too. Turning to the group, Mangal suggests playing a video. A woman then reveals that Somiya’s husband had placed something in her bag. Mangal clarified that he had only picked up his phone, which may have slipped into her bag by mistake.
Mangal, a person of high reputation, assures us he will never commit theft. While an error may have been made, we are aware of the surveillance cameras present. It would be foolish of us to attempt to steal. We intended to conduct business with you, but you have chosen to disrespect your customers. As a result, they will take their business elsewhere.
Karthik and Lakshmi return home, wondering about Gayatri’s whereabouts. Sanjana informs them that she is feeling down. Gayatri then expresses her disappointment that Lakshmi rarely asks for anything from them. In response, Lakshmi acknowledges that the family has given her everything. Gayatri then presents her with a necklace to symbolise her love and care for her daughter-in-law despite not receiving much in return. Vidhi adds that the necklace holds sentimental value as it belongs to their family. Gayatri reminds them of the significant sacrifice she made by marrying her son to Lakshmi. The scene ends with Lakshmi performing the traditional arti ritual.
Adit and Mangal return home, and Somiya immediately questions Adit about his failed plan. He responds by accusing her of ruining everything with her indiscriminate approvals. In frustration, he asks what else he can do. Somiya threatens to reveal their secret relationship if he doesn’t come clean to everyone. Just then, Shanti appears, and Adit quickly hides. Shanti asks Somiya why she is there, to which Somiya replies that she came to make tea. Shanti kindly reminds her that she is a guest and should focus on her upcoming wedding. With that, Shanti takes her leave.
Mayank serves tea to Somiya while Bhushan compliments Mangal’s cooking. However, Mangal soon realizes she forgot to add salt and admits her mistake. Shanti then remarks that someone may have purposely added salt to ruin the food, implying that Somiya could be responsible for it.
Mangal inquires, “What are you saying?” Shanti explains that she was by herself in the kitchen. Adit asserts that accusing her is unfair since she is our guest. Shanti asks, “Why do you always need to defend her?” Adit asks for proof, while Akshar confidently declares, “I have some.”
