The episode begins with Mangal and Kusum performing the morning arti. Mangal tells Kusum to eat something, but Kusum reminds her that this fast is important for mothers praying for their children. They break the fast together. Kusum asks about Adit, and Mangal says he is still upset and needs time.

Later, Kusum goes to Adit’s room. Adit, assuming it is Mangal, rudely asks for coffee. When he realizes it is Kusum, he expresses his frustration and says he feels ruined by the accusations against him. He blames Mangal for his suffering. Kusum challenges him, saying that Mangal did not file the complaint and reminds him that he cheated on Mangal by having an affair with Soumya. She says if Mangal made a mistake, Adit committed a sin.

Meanwhile, Mangal prepares breakfast and lunch for Adit. Kusum prays for Adit to come to his senses and tells him that he has no right to blame Mangal. Adit angrily throws things. Kusum notices a piece of laddu outside and worries that Mangal may have overheard their conversation.

At Gayatri’s house, Gayatri mocks Lakshmi, saying she should not fast to avoid bringing the police again. Lakshmi is hurt by her words.

Mangal overhears something and becomes upset. She says that people keep breaking her trust. She suspects her father Sudesh of eating a laddu despite claiming to fast. Sudesh overhears the conversation between Kusum and Mangal and is shocked to learn about Adit’s affair with Soumya. He questions Kusum for hiding the truth from him and from Mangal. Kusum tries to defend her silence, saying she was protecting Mangal from more pain. Sudesh says if it were Kusum’s daughter, she would not have stayed quiet. He decides to tell Mangal everything, just as she enters the room.

At the office, Adit is working and asks Soumya if she is okay. She mixes divorce papers with other documents. A gust of wind scatters the pages and Soumya quickly hides the divorce papers among them. She gives the documents to Adit to sign. Without noticing, Adit signs the divorce papers. Soumya is relieved and says she had to do this because he would not sign them knowingly.

Back home, Sudesh apologizes to Mangal and expresses regret. Mangal consoles him and offers him diet laddus. He blesses her and prays for her happiness. Kusum says Sudesh is fine and suggests they go to the temple. Sudesh tells Kusum to tell Mangal the truth before they return.

At the office, Soumya continues to push Adit to sign more papers. Adit’s pen runs out of ink and he says he will finish later, but Soumya insists he sign everything now because the boss is already angry. Meanwhile, at the temple, Kusum confesses to a woman in a red chunri that Adit is cheating on Mangal and is having an affair with Soumya. She says she is sorry for hiding the truth.

However, the woman Kusum is speaking to is not Mangal. Mangal soon arrives and asks if everything is fine. Kusum tries to cover up by saying she gave her chunri to another woman whose blouse tore. Mangal grows suspicious and asks Kusum what she told that woman.
